Yesterday I listened to a bunch of songs I have from her on my pen drive while making a long drive, and such amazing gems I rediscovered. Crossroad, kiss o kill, talkin 2 myself, is this love?... and not to mention Return road which is pure perfection. I still don’t lose my hope she will come back someday with a great full length album with the true essence of Ayumi hamasaki.

Is this LOVE? is just TOO good

Guys, I'm curious about something, the streams on Spotify by international fans does something for japanese artists? (in terms of charts, rankings, whatever) I'm kinda "new" using Spotify so I'm not sure if it counts, also two of her top 5 songs are close to hitting 3M streams (Boys & Girls and SEASONS) so I thought it'd be cool to hit that mark, maybe create a streaming playlist idk I've seen many fandoms doing things like that but I'm not sure if it actually works lol

All plays from around the world add up to the number you can see The fact that boys&girls is there made me rediscover the song as I used to ignore the studio version but somehow recently I found it to be so much fun ^^

Such a great live performance of crossroad as well. I still really love late 2000s and early 2010s performances she did.

Just finally made a spotify playlist of all Of Ayu’s interludes - I have quite a few playlists but I never think of listening to her interludes. Honestly re-discovering some gems: Not yet, The Judgment Day, Disco-munication, Catcher in the light... so many brilliant tracks, all in their own way. I know people used to complain about the number of interludes but it made me miss the time when albums felt like they had a meaning/structure behind them instead of being mere collections of songs.

Not complaining, there is so much material to listen to, but it makes me realise how much I’ve been craving for a full blown new album!
