flumpool announced today that they're no longer part of A-Muse & have gone independent by setting up their own company

However they still entered a business alliance with A-Sketch which's owned by A-Muse

flumpool leaves AMUSE, to start a new company and partner with A-Sketch

It's been reported that flumpool has left entertainment company AMUSE. They have started a new company on July 1, and will be carrying out their activities under a partnership with AMUSE Group company A-Sketch.

According to the band's official website, flumpool felt that there was a rapid change in the environment surrounding music and questioned the way entertainment should be as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. "We felt that we needed to face ourselves right now and think thoroughly about what we can do for our fans through music," they explained as the reason for going independent.

The members also expressed their gratitude to AMUSE saying, "We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts to AMUSE, who strongly pushed us without ever making an unpleasant face despite our one-sided selfishness."

flumpool has been with AMUSE since their debut in 2008. They had been one of the main acts in AMUSE's music event 'Amuse Fes' for many years.

flumpool to release a new song on their debut anniversary day

flumpool will digitally release their new song "Sono Tsugi ni" on their debut anniversary day, October 1.

This song was created with the theme of "friends." Yamamura Ryuta (Vo, G) commented, "This summer, we left the place that raised us over the past 13 years and took one step forward with our own feet. This song, 'Sono Tsugi ni,' includes our our anxiety and conflict on taking that step, as well as our unwavering courage."

In addition, flumpool will hold their first acoustic-style live 'ROOF PLAN ~Acoustic in Billboard Live~' this December. They are scheduled to perform on December 15th and 16th at Billboard Live OSAKA, 19th at Billboard Live YOKOHAMA, and 30th and 31st at Billboard Live TOKYO.
