A BALLAD was official recorded as a million selling album.

And oh my God. I've lost that site for over a year when my computer died down over a year ago. Thanks Phantoma.

But do you think you could link me to the Top100 all time albums of Japan, and Top100 all time singles of Japan page? If it's still there, I remembered they used to have it there.

Edit: Why is 'Single Collection' listed as 3 million? o_O'

8, 4, 3, 3 .... O_o

edit : i was exploring the website for a while under the CERTIFIED DIAMOND ALBUMS ... and the highest sales no. if 28 MILLIONS !!! O_O by EAGLES- "THEIR GREATEST HITS 1971-1975" ......one album....28 millions and it's takes almost 30 years....

Oh my GOSH! 28 million! I mean that would be like, out of 10 Japanese, 8 to 9 of them own the CD? LOL, that's like mad.

Anyway, First Love sold 8 million?! Gosh, what a record! Haha, but I think in overall sales, Ayu still beats Hikki. So go Ayu go! *geez, I hope it's not another Mini Album she's releasing this time round, cuz if she does PVs and songs together, like what she did for Memorial Address, I doubt it's going to be anything good*

Hikki really has talent, but I'm wondering how much EXODUS will sell. I thought she was doing translation or something for her EXODUS album into Japanese or something?

^ The Eagles album you're talking about was an American album...that's the American sales not the Japanese ones. The highest selling album is still First Love. -.-'

I do have to agree. To have the number one selling be a collection of singles that have already been released, no changes added, is kind of strange. I like Hikki and all but I never expected her album to get this much acclaim. Ah well...and why isn't L'arc~en~ciel's SMILE album up there??

Well, I bought Hikki's Single Collection too. A reason for its relatively good sales is the fact that collection has 'Colors' on it, which was only released as a single otherwise. For a lot of people who don't buy singles (like me) that was a positive point.

Rock it!

But...it annoys me to see Avril in there...not because it's Avril, but because it's western music.

I hope Ayu's Album will get a lot higher... People who haven't bought Memorial Address yet: hurry up and buy it! It's worth the price... And it's nice to have your own copy!

...hate to break it to ya (k maybe i don't ) but Exodus made it's way to number one.

Anyway, Memorial Address did really well for a mini-album. Can't wait to get her new one

well ayu release much more stuff than hikki, so that explains why hikki sells more with each release compared to ayu.
