I love this PV and the song. I think it is much better than GAME, but not quite as awesome as Ourselves. Ayu's hair is gorgeous, her dress is gorgeous, the crazy cube things are neat, ahhhh it is just so weird and cool!

I'd give a 9 to both the song and the PV.

Hamasaki looks so cute in this! Cuter then in the GAME PV!

The video dosent even look "gothic" =\ Maybe if hamasaki has her arms missing, and the dancing man was a maniquen without legs, or they where wearing ball gowns from the 12th century.

And I dont see how its like GAME, wow the lightings just a bit darker then most of her videos. Isnt it just like the video clip of seasons? (I know the three videos are streamed together)? WOW THAT MUST BE GOTHIC TOO OMGZ LYKE WOW HAMASAKI IS SO GOTHIC LYKE H*CRE!

OMG you are right¡ I Think she does pay tribute to him in the whloe video!!! POSES, GLAMOUR, and 50's DRESS... in decadence... The whole video is a trubute to Richard Avedon

and she makes it cool! plus it has to do with this game:

I love how the video was put together, the effects, I was always a fan of those quick then slow, then stop but camera still moving effects (BoY, Ourselves, GAME)

The song, I tingle listening to it XD It's so good! Holy crap XD

PV : 8.5/10 (Loved the effects, but could have been more climatic)
Song : 15/10 (Nuff said xD)

For as good a song song it is, I thought the PV left much to be desired. I thought for something like that a PV with more substance would be produced. In my opinion her last 2 PVs were boring!

I was told that the same person who directed the GAME and Angel's Song directed the About You. Well...I didn't like those videos either =/ The quality of the song totally makes up for it though, that just might be my favorite song on the album besides Moments.

Hmmm I'm really wondering...I hope she'll play and dance with the fabric in her live performances. Or that she'll get trapped in the cube...I really like the fact she's taking the elemnts from her PVs and putting them in her live performances.

I liked the PV a lot. Yeah, it was interesting., Ayu looked so pretty ^_^
I also liked the guy in the box with the black hair n make-up.. yeah ^^;;

Yeah, the PV looks really good, and I like the song a lot too ^^

I was really surprised by the song! I thought it would be a ****, but it's awesome! The chorus is a bit boring, but ok. I would give it a 8/10.

The PV... Ehhh, I don't really like it. Better than Inspire, but I wasn't expecting something good really. 5/10.

It was kind of reminiscent of GAME. It seemed to be dripping with lots of symbolism. It kind of bared this darker theme to it. I can't wait to read the lyrics to perhaps see if the words coincide with the symbolism Ayumi is trying to convey here.

I loved this video number one....it was great, and so is the song!!! for me, its a 10 out of 10.

Anyways, talking about the artistic value. While some of you have figured out that it may have a connection with Richard Avedon, I also found some past Ayu history in there as well possibly. (Sorry I'm not quoting anyone...I'm kinda lazy to do so).

Now this may only be me, but so far what I have found (and using some of your suggestions as well):

-The Crow (Game Video)

-Dancer with the tattoos, and it may be me, but the walls to either side of Ayu (In Green) look like old t.v.s or something. (Game Video)

-The Red Dress, and Lightning. (The red dress looks similar to the one she wears in Seasons, and the lightning could resemble the same video) (Seasons, Vogue, Far Away Videos)

-The Ice Cube (As most call it) kinda reminds me of the Rainbow Cover. (Rainbow)

-The guy in the ice cube looks kinda like the guy from the Kanariya video, and the eye shadown is worked the same way. (Kanariya Video)

-The plant person reminds me of the I Am... Cover (I Am...)

-Then I could have swore I saw a colorful wavey motion in the background, so that could tie to the Surreal video. (Surreal Video)

-Also, if you really look at the background a bit, it kinda looks like the interior of a starship or something, you especially see it at the end...and it looks kinda like the main interior during the Real Me video. (Real Me Video)

-The camera motions (as someone else said), could tie to Inspire maybe, so thats always a possibility (Inspire Video).

-Then theres the two Ayu's signifying Ourselves, as there were two Ayu's in both Ourselves, Rainbow (more than two), and Fly High. (Ourselves Video, Rainbow Video, Fly High Video)

so yea....thats what I've come to find so far...I mean, this is only me. To me all of that being in the video, symbolizes "MY STORY" becuz its recapping parts from her past, to now, in artistic forms. I hope someone can share the same view as what I'm seeing.

I thought it was tooooooo much like GAME, it bored me a bit, I liked the scenes where Ayu was in the red "Teddy bear" dress, she looked pissed off for once in those shots. The song, I thought I'd be a little better than it is, but I still think it'll be my favorite track on the album. Yeah, I hope walking proud will have an ORIGINAL pretty PV
