- Report -

Today, due to one blank page space (?), an article about me, DAI, was published; but the facts regarding the matter expressed were completely groundless.

It's just over 2 months until Amasia Landscape's 27 July release. Now that everything has started concretely moving along, it's making my chest swell with big expectations.

Everyone involved, including Amasia Crew and myself, are striving to create with all our might, in order to always deliver to you our best works. Thank you for always supporting us and cheering us on.

Furthermore, I hope you all have peace of mind regarding this issue. I truly apologize from my heart for any worry this may have caused you.

His language is soooo formal and uber polite! I wonder if he's always like that, or if this whole thing really just upset him.

So DAI denies what the ZAKZAK article says. I suppose we'll see how it plays out from here.
AVEX's PR people wroted it.

I believe Ayu will be taking a risk venturing into the hip-hop & reggae genres. As we all know, her music style should always be pop & rock. I give her credit for trying new things, but it may cost Ayu more than it's worth. We will see...

I think so too... especially since right now she's at a critical stage where her popularity is at stake.. well good luck to her.

well she did have a rap infused mini album back in the days. But raggae... yeah that's whole different story. Grouping the two together like that just shows how little (or nothing at all) this story's writer knows.

She also listened to Kid Rock.

And yeah, lolo66, that's a good point.. she did have that rap album in '95. But reggae and hiphop aren't very similar to that, and since she went solo there hasnt been anything like rap since. I dont understand why Ayu would do reggae/hip hop unless it is just to try new things. But overall, i wish she stays pop/rock.

i think that mcat song was like a re-release of an older song though, right? i mean, i understood that she recorded it way back when and they just rereleased it.

i could be wrong though.

Guys, Ayu's not doing hip-hop or reggae. I think that's clear. The article didn't even say she is requesting "hip-hop or reggae songs," but rather "songs with a hip-hop or reggae taste." That means her normal msuic, but with a bit of a [h-h/r] flair. Don't expect anything too drastic.

In addition, the article's source said "Maybe she's thinking of becoming like Amuro Namie." But I think we can all agree that Namie is neither hip-hop nor reggae. The person clearly has no idea what they are talking about; so rest easy.

Hip-hop and reggae? Oh, God no. If Ayu starts doing that I'll lose all faith in her.

What's the big deal? She has done songs with reggae elements before. "HANABI" and "from your letter" have reggae elements in them. (They even made a reggae remix for HANABI, the "ARIWA Dub Mix"). Not to mention she actually has several other reggae remixes. I don't see why people get so freaked out LOL
