Hooray, Ayu! You go, girl!

I think it's safe to say that she'll continue getting 1's for a while. I wonder how high her record will go. =)

Let's see how many more #1's can Ayu come up with in future. Whoever's going after that record will definitely have a hard time trying indeed.

^ I say another 2 more coming until an album. Provided she doesnt do another Bold And Delicious. That was scary, I thought it would never get #1. I see a long run of number 1 singles ahead.. As long as her music is still mainstream yet high quality.

^If I'm not wrong, B'z's streak is even longer than Ayu's? Not too sure about that, because it was from Wikipedia I think.

It'd be quite sad to see the day that the long run finally ends for Ayu though.

5 to 10 more #1, I think, then she loses her trend =X
hope she can last longer than that and prove me wrong

Might be bad of me to say this, but I'd be happy to see someone match this feat really. It means whoever does it must have heaps of talent and produce awesome music, just like Ayu does now.

B'z one is definitely longer than Ayu's. They've had over 30 consecutive #1s since the 90s.. :]

It's really scary actually. :]

Ayu will never be surpassed unless someone produces a star that can shine like Ayu [no not koda] >>

It's scary how they still rock at 40.

And when someone does indeed match or even surpass her, we can all be happy that a talent as great as Ayu existed.

You're really into the whole "dismissing Koda Kumi's credibility" when no one is even speaking of her. How pathetic.

___

I'm sure everyone is happy for Ayumi on this. Even those who do not like her new work. The older songs were #1 singles that assisted in getting her here.

^ but its true that kumi can never meet this feat. She only have two #1 singles and do you think she can survive long enough to have 26 #1 singles?
