ayu's songs...LIVE SUNG or RECORDED?

I think some of her best performances have been live and not on CD - they naturally have a more raw feeling. The one that comes immediately to mind is A Song For Xx at the Dome Tour.

Basically I think every song was better live than on the CD for MY STORY. It's not that the album was bad, but the concert itself was absolutely fantastic.

Many songs since there is some sorta different arrangement in the live versuion but still i catch some songs too are lost some 'touch' in it's live performance.

In this case...we're gonna chat about which do you like to listen :

ayu's songs being sung LIVE
or
ayu's recorded songs (CDs)

For me...I prefer her LIVE vocals...it's just getting really amazing and even usually nicer than the CDs ones....

it's just some from the CDs are nicer being listened than the LIVE ones

some of my choices would be :

-CAROLS (CDL & AT)
-Moments (AT)
-STEP you
-INSPIRE (AT & CDL)
-GAME (AT)
-my name's WOMEN (AT)
-(all the other songs from AT 05,CDL04-05,A museum)
-etc...

i thought most songs from MY STORY tour were sung very nciely. ..
usually the most annoying one is when she performs all her oldies hits like Trauma, Independent and Humming ,,,, that type of song .. usually her voice is really high pitch to make it sound cute ~

i love it when she sings the songs from her 1st and 2nd album live, her voice is much better, especially poker face in A Museum, i was like "WOW this song is actually pretty good~"

But, about the concerts, I most like MY STORY AT, because it was so girly and cute!!

totally agree. her recorded voice is of cos at the best quality. but i think her voice at arena tours are the best. MY STORY tour has the best vocals so far.. her usual performances are not very good. at times, she sounded nasal, cant pitch several notes... etc.

It depends on the song. When Ayu performed Startin' at CDL 05-06 I wasn't really impressed, but I love the single version. On the other hand, I think her early songs like Boys & Girls and Whatever sound much better during more recent concerts, because her voice has changed a lot since she recorded them.

me too!!! and i just love it when she forgets the lyrics X3

anyway, i also hate it when ayu acts cute when singing her old songs...like Boys & Girls from MY STORY TOUR. argh, it just ruined the whole song
