I don't know about everyone else but I am very sad at this... Remember when it was announced that fairyland was like the most expensive jpop video in history and they were really trying to promote Ayu with that single and it didn't turn out to well... They tried really hard and I think Ayu deserved to win!

I don't think STEP you could've been counted.

I think the 2005 MTVJ Awards took place after STEP you even came out.. so it was probably out of the running for 2006.

On the other hand, fairyland is the poppiest she got out of the PVs following STEP you. HEAVEN, B&D, Pride, Ladies Night, and rainy day were all definitely not poppy at all.

Wow, last year was a year of.. strangeness.

I love Konayuki, but it should be in the best rock category. And also, the song is great but the video really wasn't too good and these are video awards.

"Konayuki" is a totally amazing song, but its PV is totally boring. It's not like "fairyland" is better though.

The winners suck lol. 50CENT?? hello?

The only win i'm happy about is Ken Hirai's.

Ayu should have won for STEP YOU or ALTERNA. KONAYUKI was great but the video was very plain and did not make sense.

And 3 awards for KODA KUMI? *vomits*
