Isn't "Jin da MC" the first asian artist to break the US market? He's with Ruff Ryder or something like that... He won many "flow" contest in a BET show...

Cornelius and Pizzicato Five are very popular too, more than foreign pop but much less still than domestic pop

(Not that it disqualifies him but) Wasn't Jin born in America? I thought he grew up in Flushing...

Hopefully Utada will try again. She's good enough to give other Asians a chance too, no doubt

In Italy Cibo Matto and Pizzicato Five was known some years ago...cibo matto what a weird name....in italian it means something like crazy food lol
I didnt know that Puffy are popular in the US...but in Italy we can see their anime =P in the opening there are the real Ami Yumi
