She never really had crooked teeth, they were always streight, just that the 'fang' ones were sorta in the back comparing to the rest of the lineup. And she had perfect white smile since her teenage modeling days -- you can see that in the Idol (Swimsuit Special) video. I'm not sure, but I think braces have to be worn all the time and during a long peroid to have any effect. Like people said, it's probably thank to veneers...

I don't know what your definition of crooked is but I've attached a pic of her teeth from idol days to A BOOK to Uraayu. Looking at them, I do agree she has had veneers but I still think it's cute that there's that one front tooth that is just a teensy bit in front of the others even now (only really visible at a certain angle). Note the huge improvement on her bottom set of teeth.

She probably had work done throughout her career via a retainer + some magic. XD

And they probably redid stuff later.. [post fairyland, pre HEAVEN]

Well that is crooked indeed... when I look at the idol video now, it seems like it's the only tooth that's not really streight. I think they might have procedures to quickly streighten a single one.

I wonder how strong is the part of Japanese genetic makeup that determines not really streight teeth. Would it be enough to have one completly non-Asian parent to have streight teeth?...
