I hate it when people really don't know Ayu and they say things like that.. (I think her throat was drying out by the time she was done with B&G, and she might've been sick so she could've lasted for Boys and Girls but then after that she probably felt weakness in the throat..)

Yeah if the jewelry was too tight she wouldn't have been able to sing the song before it. She just had a dry throat. But I wouldnt go as far as to say that person hates Hamasaki, they're just trying to give a logical explenation. It's not like they said, "look at her choke, it's only to hide the fact that she can't sing."

Ayu commented about the performance on one particular episode of music station. Apparently it seems that the jewellery was quite a last minute thing and as a result of that, Ayu had difficulty gasping for air. It's rather difficult to sing in fact (as long as your throat area is being pressed against by things, it's going to cause irritation and constriction of your windpipe).

If I'm not wrong, it was during her first performance of Dearest on Music Station with a special video of her lives being played that she commented on the performance.

She sounds strained and like she's not getting enough air when she had an intake of breath. Ever have it where you take a shallow breath and your lungs just seem to collapse? That's what it seemed like what happened. As to what made her strain, the physical elemental of the necklace or the biological element of perhaps being sick or stressing her vocal chords too much the previous performance I dunno, but you can see the obvious discomfort on her face before she even starts singing.
