I dont care what he said about Ayu but he should be free to speak his mind. Avex threatening legal action is just taking it too far.
I know some that agree that Hikki sings better than Ayu. I think her voice is more versatile than Ayu's but I am by far a bigger fan of Ayu.
I have no issue with that guy stating his opinion, it doesnt affect how I feel about Ayu.

Wow, im seeing a lot of quotes. i agree that he should have the right to freedom of speech but this is just very UNPROFFESSIONAL of him.

Well for your information, Alam Tam has gone bankrupt long ago and has a fierce law dispute with his ex-wife. Their negative news had always dominated on the press' entertainment section for months.

Even as an administrator of AHS I'm very fabergastered with this guy. So what he's honest? After several Hong Kong artists being bashed by him, now Ayu's being bashed by him too. I understand his "senior class" in Hong Kong but it's just that he's an old man trying to get some publicity using Ayu.

Off Key or not, I'm going to judge her myself, but bashing other artist isn't a very good idea and now he is drawing fire to himself. Serves him right!

Currently Alan hasn't made any reply to the Avex, and one more thing, Avex has even threatened to withdraw not only Ayumi, but also BoA and other JPOP artists from the award ceremony.

Personally I think Ayu doesn't short for any awards.... it's also OK that she can miss out the ceremony, as to let the guys taste her wrath.

they just call him "the principal" for he has been singing in hongkong for many years...itz just a name they call as kinda a respect for his seniority~

Not everyone's voice is perfect during live performances and, yes, Ayu has had some disappointing live performances in the past. But doesn't that make the artist more honest to his/her fans? How can emotion be expressed in a pre-recorded song when all someone has to do is lip sync and dance? Ayu's songs are heartfelt and moving, always performing them with the strength and power she wants to give. Sure that might cause her to go flat now and then, but I'll always enjoy hearing her over pre-recorded material.

Plus, recording studios alter your voice to perfection to make your voice seamless and flawless. That's why the originals usually tend to be better than live performances even though they enhance the singer's singing abilities in many ways.

yeh like utada in her bohemian summer, she forget the song * GOMEN NASAII * ;(its hard work singing infront of all t hose people and wen i watched ayu singing fly high 2002 tour i thought how can she keep up with the song its so fast and shes dancing shes gonna get out of breathe and she did but i dont mind

LOL, is he going through a case of male menopause?

But bashing someone is just horrible, he is making himself look like an arse! He got the attention that he wanted, so he is gonna get what he deserves. He is probably jealous of Ayu's singing.. I wouldn't blame him. She's way more popular then he'll ever be.
