I kind of can't believe I'll be seeing Dir en Grey on Sunday o_O My friend got us lawn tickets for the DC show....I didn't really think I'd ever see them in concert. This will be my 4th Jmusic concert of the year (even though DeG will only be playing a small part of the Family Values tour)

I agree, they were awesome! I just felt like I could have enjoyed their performance more if the makeshift mosh pit didn't form behind me and my friends >_<;;; We had to constantly worry about whether the mosh pit people were going to push us/run into us -_-;;

There were a lot of people there (for me anyway)....I guess in this area (DC) there are more DeG fans. I was definitely scared of the pit....the people were going crazy! And it wasn't like they were really into DeG either -_-;; One guy broke his nose...ugh...

P.S. Does anyone know of any good/active Dir en Grey forums? My fandom for Dir en Grey has suddenly been reawakened ^^;

This thread needs to be a bit more active

So..who has plans to see DeG in concert? I actually saw them perform last night in Baltimore--there was a chance for a Meet-n-Greet like Family Values Tour, but my friends and I were convinced that it'd be the same kind of Meet-n-Greet like at FVT. Plus, fans were only randomly selected when they bought the pre-sale card for the album and had a "RAMS HEAD" logo on it. We didn't think it'd be worth it...

Btw, does anyone know of any good, updated fansites?

I was going to go to the show tomorrow at the Avalon in Boston, but I'm sick. Tickets are still available, but thankfully I haven't bought one yet so I didn't waste any money. *sigh*

How was the show?

I'm going this coming Monday to the show in Detroit. I don't think I'll be putting out the money for the album :/ Atleast, not when the odds of getting to meet them are so slim.

I don't have any links to post :/ There's such a lack of fansites, or ones updated like once a month.

Tomorrow is the Toronto concert x3~ I'm so exited~!!!

The new album is allright. I'm not to fond of the continuous screaming, but the backing track (instruments) is very good. I hope that Kyo will sing more instead of screaming all the time.

I really like the new album. THE DEEPER VILENESS is hott and my favourite track, after agitated screams of maggots.
