Ayu: Only Asian with world's most expensive PVs

Well, that's because AVEX announced how much My Name's WOMAN and Fairyland costed (Jewel cost isn't confirmed!! AVEX isn't stupid, they didn't BOUGHT that much jewels, they probably BORROWED from Swarovsky or something), but they never released any info about other artists PV and Toshiba EMI never said how much they spent on Hikki's PVs (I'm sure some of them are pretty expensive) or how much JE's spent on their PVs... so it doesn't mean Ayu is the ONLY asian on the world's most expensive PVs, it means we don't have complete info.

I swear that SAKURADROPS was pretty expensive, but not as expensive as the Ayu ones..

That could have all been fake. Actually, it should have been fake. They wouldn't spend that much money...

Make up artists... all the guys are wearing make-up too, and seeing as this is entertainment, they hire only the best.

The artists themselves were I bet not that expensive, but all the stuff they had to use might have been indeed.

Look at the extras, each one of them is in a unique outfit, more costs.

I think that was just cherry juice... Wine not only costs much, it also gets you drunk... I bet neither of these aspects they wanted to deal with.

You mean like the building crew did a party after they finished? I think that'd be way over the top of being unprofessional...

Choreographers for the dance sequences. I'm pretty sure that the number of cameras used was also quite phenomenal...

I think they only used like 2 cameras... One static camera and one rig camera... They just filmed the scenes cut by cut instead of repeating each scene with cameras set differently on each try, you can see that in the making of.

The video was nearly 10 minutes long too. The amount of film that it takes to make a 10 minute video clip would astound you =)

To me, the video screams glamour.

Not to me, rather... cliche or lack of taste...

And I agree, that they clearly seem not to be able to... how should I say... adjust? The budget and the effects aren't always matching, IMO. I bet HEAVEN was quite cheap, while it's way better than My name's WOMEN, fairyland and JEWEL altogether.

you know I just thought of something. I remember that Max Matsuura once posted an article about how the Ayu-bashing article about Ayu beeing too powerful. He said that ayu is an excellent singer and in 10 years, she'd be the new Yuming. And he said that both EXILE and Ayumi have expensive PVs and he had the then-new 'fairyland' and 'my name's women' as examples.
