IMO, she was definitely talking about "A".

It was released a month before ASFXX, so that's probably what she meant by before her debut album.

So it wasn't necessarily pre-avex, but it was certainly pre-famous Ayu..

Ayu might be referring to another song that was never recorded, because 'A' was released on avex CD in 1998, after Ayu's debut.

Maybe the project for creating that song came way back before poker face was released, but they ended up releasing poker face first?
