^ i agree with you it did kill the sells of SECRET. A-BEST 2 was past release date so not many people are gawking over it. It should have very well been released about 3 years ago or even 4. It's a real shame.
Truehappiness : Madden is very popular game, for the video game industry and retailers who sale it. They make money off that and expect it to sell millions and it does all the time. Ayumi Hamasaki is japan's money maker in music it use to sell millions now it has lost its luster with audience because of digital downloading or over doing stuff. So her stuff doesnt sell as it use to. I guess like many others here, feel Avex had pretty high standards for A-BEST 2 and shipped so many copies and people are barely buying them.

I don't think it really matters how many copies were shipped, just as long as Ayu's fans are happy (and in this case it was to satisfy the hightened demand of Ayu's Taiwanese/mainland Asian fans). ;]
Thinking about it, 1.9 million copies have been shipped, and out of that 1.3 million have been sold, so 600K is left in stores, not too bad. *optimism* :|

Since limited products don't sell everything, I think A BEST 2 is doing quite good with this 1.9 million copies shipped =)
They already sold 1.3 million just in Japan for its first mounth, so that makes 0.6 million that need to be sold. If you add asian purchases [Taiwan, Hong-Kong, China, Malaysia & Singapour], the online purchases [HMV, CDJapan, YesAsia], plus more A BEST 2 to be sold until then end of the year in Japan, I think we won't be THAT far from this number finally =D Yay! for A BEST 2 =333 Maybe sells of each one are really low for a BEST album of the JpopQueen, but both still reach an awesome number =3

^ Means that total A BEST 2 CD shipped is WAY MORE than 1.9 million ? =o

So THAT is HUUUUGEE then =/ If the 1.9 was for everything it'd be ok, but then if we add the copies shipped for the overseas/Hong-Kong/Chinese editions.... @__@ Worse than I was thinking =//// Awwww.... It's a big loss for Avex then... =s Since A BEST 2 won't sell more than 1.4 in Japan, it's like 0.5m still available at the end of the year...
