uh..they're okay. Fated though^^. not the best summer single i think though. Glitter was a bit like BLUEBIRD and fairyland...but meh^^ i like it, it's cute and fun to sign along to when you promise to get back into shape by dancing to ayu, namie, boa, and hiphop music for an hour three times a week.

i really love this single. DEF NOT my favorite from her, but wonderful nonetheless! I really don't think we're ever going to get that "groundbreaking" new song we've all been hoping for, so I say enjoy what we do get, right?

I like this single. Glitter is happy and bright summer song and fated is serious and powerful, good combination. And the covers, oh the covers, they're definetly one of Ayu's best covers ever!

After "rockish" Secret-album, this music style seems fresh but also like going back to the good old times... I really like that feeling.

Both aren't breathtaking. But to the very least, glitter was....eugh, somewhere nice. The chorus was fresh, but the main verses are just....sound old.
fated was nice. Ok, I admit it was amazing. Just...could be better.

At first I was very under-whelmed by the single and thought it was quite bland and rather stale, but it really grew on me after a few more spins. Like BLUE BIRD, I found glitter's arrangement to be unexciting and somewhat dated and generic, but melodically the song is gorgeous. fated didn't really do much for me either, I thought it sounded like a MY STORY filler track, but once I familiarised myself with the composition I really began to appreciate the song. Ayu’s vocal performance in this song is particularly strong and emotive. Overall, to me I feel like this single is a bit of a retread of her Secret material- although this sound no longer has the freshness that it once had, it is a bit more polished and less rough-around-the-edges now.

As for Distance Love, I felt the short overall seemed a bit cheap and low-budget looking. This detracted from my enjoyment of the glitter PV, because I was expected something glossy, expensive, and well, glittery, however I think it worked well with fated because it made the song and clip seem more raw and genuinely emotional.

So I pretty much love the single, and I reaalllly love the SHEXXXYFUL COVERS!!!

Uhm I liked the bridge interlude in "glitter," I found it refreshing and pretty interesting, but for the rest of the song, I thought it was too... staccato-esque and the only parts that brought me joy&pleasure lol was the "yeah yeah yeah," "wow wow wow"s hahaha.

As for "fated," I thought the melody line was different and pretty beautiful, but it needed something, I thought something was lacking from this song, a sound or something.

So overall, I thought this single deserved a 6/10.

itz alright. nothing mind-blowing... at first, I was like she releases at least two songs like this per year: a happy pop song and a sad ballad. but the more i listen, the more i like and see the uniqueness of these songs ^^

Well. This single is nice but definately not her nicest single. Glitter was a very happy song but fated was a sad ballad but it is like a normal ballad nothing special. I give it 7/10

I'm not a fan of it at all. I'm actually kind of dissappointed in her lately. This single is a very typical Ayu release and there is nothing original about either songs. fated is slightly better because she does those types of songs less, but with glitter, c'mon. We've heard it before on fairyland, BLUE BIRD, etc.
