I doubt that would happen. Usually the first two days's sales are similar.. So I guess tomorrow's indicator will be something around 20000 as well. Very close to L'arc's SEVENTH HEAVEN 1st day sales (23771). L'arc's 1st week was about 110k, so I think the 1st week sales might be very close to the Startin'/Born To Be... area.

It didn't get more than 200k 1st week. FREAKY's 1st week sales were 108k. After 3 weeks, it's at ~160k.

Well, I don't know about daily charts, but you can see weekly romanized single and album charts at Oricon.

hiroshi, 200k are 200,000 ^_^.

FREAKY sold first week 108k(108,000).
It just might get to 200,000 in a few weeks but not a lot after that.
It got to around (160k) 160,000 after three weeks...

I think glitter/fated will do the same, a bit higher lower.

Please check real numbers more often xD.

I doubt it will reach 300,000... Hopefully it will at least reach 200,000 =\ .

this single is not ayu's best but it deserves much better.
Specially because of fated and the short film, ayu invested a lot in it.

I would like to know how would it sell if hikki wouldn't divorce, but it's not like you can blame her. Just was luck and it certainly brought a good promotion.

Probably it would have sold a little more than Ai Otsuka's HYD single if the divorce didn't create all that noise. I still don't think it's luck but clever marketing.

Well HYD2 was a lot higher rated than HYD. But yeah the marketing: It was released during the final few episodes of the drama + divorce + Hikki made more TV appearances than usual (imo)

Yup, Flavour of Life sold a lot mainly due to very good marketing, a MAJOR tie-in, and well, Hikki stuff in general are VERY sought after. I guess we'll never really know why, the case is just as such!

Anyway, I think Ayu has gotten really decent sales for this single for a first opening day! Hopefully sales will go up! It's considerably high considering singles aren't starting to sell that much in Japan anymore, possibly similar to that in America in which only the albums get noticed.

*gasps* so low =( T_T so sad. hopefully the people of japan will start investing in it more. Maybe they have been slowed down by the vacation. Lets hope the sales increase through the week, even if its impossible XD
