The word "hell" isn't technically in the lyrics, but there aren't many ways to express the idea of the Japanese word ittai in English. The phrases we use in the same places a Japanese person would use ittai would be:

(1) [who/what/etc.] "...in the world..."
I opted not to use this, because "the world" is a location, and Ayu used ittai with a verb of motion (iku). I didn't want to falsely present the idea that Ayu was actually saying "to what location in the world", because she doesn't imply that.

(2) [who/what/etc.] "...the hell/heck..."
This is what I chose to use. "Heck" to me just sounds lame, though, for the emotion behind the song.

The important thing to understand is that ittai is basically just a word of uncertain exasperation.

When the lyrics are officially released, I will apply my usual translator's notes to the lyrics and an updated translation.

the transition from verse to chorus is a bit weird though.

Considering ayu had just a few in 2007+2006 I don't think that any will be crap at all (if you looked only on Startin'-BLUE BIRD-glitter which for you must be crap).

Even if they're not ayu's best they are amazing for some other people.

For me ayu has no crappy single she has awsome, good and less good imo xD.

LOL it's just that. they think people don't let them express their opinions (if it's bad) but it's not like that.
There's a difference between voice on opinion to occasionally hate what an artist is doing except for some songs.
In that case, if I would go to another's artist thread for example and been in the same situation as it's one of my favorites or I like his/her music I would just come to post at the singles/albums/songs/things I like and not say crap crap crap crap EXCELLENT crap crap crap at most of his things.

I think people should treat more with equanimity... instead of crapping most of the time, specially because they like that artist and not mainly hate it or dislike his/her stuff?
