I agree with the interpretation thus far. The final ayu is "coloured" by the others, but she remains ayumi hamasaki. (don't) leave me alone could mean that allthough the wind sometimes blows in our faces and we'd rather be left alone, that's what makes us grow. Thus even though she does want to be left alone, in the end she'd rather have gone through the oppsition and challnges than not in order to become what she is today. Like that the title represents that train of thought perfectly; (don't) leave me alone. Even if I wanted to be left alone at the moment.
It's funny how people think a PV is shallow just because of the "wrapping", doesen't it show that they are shallow being fooled by the exterior rather than the PV being so? |

I think she's trying to say "OK, after Distance Love I'm short on money, so, this crappy PV is all I can pay right now."

I don't like this song very much. They should have made a PV for another song. I would like it more if I understood any japanese whatsoever.

There is no deeper meaning. Ayu seriously stopped doing 'deep meaning PVs' since 2004 when INSPIRE came out

Maybe not your humor, but you're blind if you can't see the budget cut this pv has gotten. Of course you can scratch meaning out of anything, but I doubt ayu put much thought into this. Obviously she put way more thought into Marionette and Together When, and this one kinda suffured.

I don't think she would do something she didn't liked for her songs.
I guess she does take part in some of the creative process in the PVs.

^because it doesn't have the teh speshul dolls and the OMG! creepy darkness scheme.
I'm kidding. I don't really know. I mean, I think every album tend to have a really low-budge PV, even her old albums. I hope the budget cut for this PV is saved for the other two PVs.

i think it means... don't leave me alone b/c i can't get out of this maze and i need your help... o, and let's see who can do the better cartwheel and let's play kung-fu and run at each other with our gay stances. pyuahahaha i kno i'm totally trashin the PV... but i just can't find anything thought provoking and interesting about it. it's just so... wth?
to be more serious here... she's in this monochromatic aluminum costume and the girls add color to her... and it gives her strength to keep moving forward... and then there's the challenge when she encounters each colored girl... but in the end they become as one and support each other... like when they randomly dance and try to look cool. mhmm... very cool. hahaha, ok. i'll stop. ![]() Last edited by panda87; 23rd December 2007 at 07:49 PM. |

![]() It's not even a dancing PV, it's a walking PV. If she copied anything, she copied every music video from the 90s. |

Ok, the interpretation is: "We've all already realized by now how much UHPlus hates ayumi lately just because he turned into a creepy hardcore namie fanboy." ![]() For your information, namie wasn't the one who invented dance and coreography. Nor did she invent the "fake collar+tie" thing. what's next, she invented music and promotional videos?

How about my way of interpretation?
The gradual change of colors refer to the different kinds of men ayu has came across with. During the course of ayu's life, ayu's boyfriends (i.e. Ties) have been taken away by other girls (i.e. the colorful girls). This corresponds to the change of colors of the ties. This pattern repeats on & on. Until she met her final guy (i.e. the black tie) she doesn't wanna be left alone by this final guy (black tie), that's why she doesn't seems willing to dance with the colourful ladies in the dancing scene. The last scene of the PV was showing ayu in a Black Tie, this implies that ayu was hoping to stay the way as it was with this guy (black tie) and wishing not to be dumped or left alone once again. |

I think the PV is saying that the people we meet throughout our lives leave some kind of impact on us however small. That impact stays with us and helps shape us into the people we are.
