it means that ever since the year 1999 up until now 2008, Ayu has managed to have a #1 single every year

Since getting #1 (in Ayu's case) is basically just a matter of releasing at the right moment, I think she *might* have a chance at beating Seiko. No? Am I being unreasonable?
I'd rather think her singles will keep selling steady enough to achieve that ^^; (no more T2M sales, please o_o)

Well, if she is not releasing another t2m-type song, then we will not see another t2m sales. Or she could release something similar to t2m with a better video. IMO that video sucks.

Well to tell you the truth. Even tho the index is shocking, somehow I expected this would happen. Normally sales do drop quite obviously between Sun and Mon. The thing is MW's indexes were surprisingly high during Sat and Sun, so that means lots more people (including causal buyers) bought MW during those two days. I was expecting the index would be around 2K once the battle was over... But actually it's even less than 2K LOL.

I dunno about SCS. I guess there're several reasons it gets low index as well:
1) out of stock (this could be a major issue cuz lots of stores in Japan are running out of SCS single. They never expected this new band could sell that well).
2) the hype is sorta cooling down.
3) anti-ayu fans stop buying it cuz the battle is over, and ayu won. It's wasting money to purchase another piece of SCS..

I think reason 1 is the major problem, while 2 and 3 are sorta minor.

Most of the boybands has a huge first week sales, I mean HUGE and then it drops drastically?
All of the fangirls buying them on the first week =P

Ehhmm, probly right to the usual boybands, but I'm not sure about SCS. All Johnny boybands have huge sales on the first 2 - 3 days, then their indexes decline a lot for the next three days. SCS on the other hand has a steady 10K indexes throughout the week, and they're new group, so I can't really see how their sales will be in the end..

Well, if Shuchishin's sales suddenly go up again later on we'll know if they were out of stock or just weren't really that popular~
We just have to wait to find out, though I'm not worrying much about that~ (more interested in Ayu's sales)
