I hope for the best for the both of them, but it honestly come off as two people adhering the cultural tradition of "pregnancy so we have to get married" aka shotgun wedding than anything else...

Although I don't think this will do well for her career.

That's her problem... Nothing wrong with her being 22 and married it's that she should have gotten married first before having a kid in the first place. *sigh*

And why did she pick some loser that was a playboy? I sadly don't have any sympathy for her. I thought she was a good role model too (by her being an american and being somewhat successful in japan) and this is how she represents americans maybe wanting to be successful in Japan?

She is full of FAIL that's all I have to say.

at least she still take the courage by deciding not to abort the inocent child, i still respect her for that, hopfully when things don't work out, she will take good care of her child.

I wouldn't feel bad for someone that made these choices out of her own free will. Doing the things she was doing she should have weighed in the possibility of becoming pregnant.
