Last year, I had a project of making your own newspaper on my last year on HS.
I made a full page article featuring Ayu's biography and her albums.

The album I featured there was GUILTY.

I forgot I also did two projects on her in my Writing class last year... one, I picked out my five favorite PVs, and then for the other one, I wrote a short story that was pretty much a retelling of the TW... PV.

I did two of my art projects on her last year. I used Ayu as a base for looking at Japanese culture through what her lyrics show and the imagery in her PVs.

I also based my final exam on the lyrics to Mirror because the theme I chose was mirror(s)! Mirror and Alice in Wonderland, I was so thrilled with this project, it was the best piece I ever did for Art! It's such a special project to me, I got so personally attached to it.

When I did my English GCSE one of the questions you could choose was "Describe someone you admire and explain why you admire them", I did Ayu! And this year I put Mirror in my IT coursework in the video we had to make.

Mmm las year in an optional asignature, cinema, I had to do a short movie, and I used Marionete ~prelude~ and reBiRTH, it was recorded in my room so of course my class not only had to listen ayu instrumentals but also see some posters -and and & ayupan for my mobile- XD (http://www.dailymotion.com/user/aura...-life_creation) <- the girl in the video it's me xD some moments are a bit LOL I know... XD

and also I used talkin' 2 myself lyrics in Greek... the catalan translation of course, I had to transcribe a song or a poem into greek letters (of course not translating, only the letters ^^) and my teacher asked me from who was those lyrics because they were really good! I though: of course they are good it's ayu! XD

And I don't remember another one... XDD

In one of my Spanish class oral, I had to talk about a singer. I chose Ayu! Forgot to bring my Ayu albums to play her songs though. Anyway, the oral was pretty bad. LOL. I suck in Spanish class. I wonder why I ever picked that class. XD I was terrible. I used Babelfish to translate my sentences... *hides*

I also used the beginning of "Voyage" (the orgel-like part) for a play.

Finally, I used a few Ayu interludes for my Astrobio audio project.

I'd love to write about Ayu for a school project, but I'm in university now, so it might be difficult. I'd have to be really objective, and I'm afraid my fangirl will start showing.

I wrote Ayu's article @ Wikipedia and got it to Featured Article status, so my English teacher let me use that as one of my papers.

I used ayu this year in my Physics portfolio. We had to give examples of how sound and light are used in stage performances and I used the MY STORY tour to compare an amateur set up to a professional set up

I used Ayu ALL THE TIME in high school. Whenever there was a poetry assignment I would always use her lyrics (I specifically remember using And Then and immature).

I also had to write a french poem one time and it was basically just a mash-up of SURREAL and Trust. It made my teacher CRY. She made me read it at some French banquet thingy.

Thank you, Ayu!

Thanks. I haven't worked on it too much since it became Featured, though, so I should probably update it a bit.

Right now, yes! I have poetry class, and I have a current project in which I make a little video collage with images, and read aloud my favorite poem that can connect to me and my life in some way. Or song lyrics.

I'm going to use an English translation of Moments for the video. I already started working on it; it's going to be so much fun. =3 And best part of all, no one will have the same poem.... or song. ^.^

Ayu is so poetic, it's perfect for this project. Besides, I really don't have a favorite poem that can actually have a deep meaning to me.

This feeling.... is this known as "love"? (Masa)

The lyrics from “is this LOVE?”, a pop-rock song by Ayumi Hamasaki, have a view on love that differs from the usual. There are no proclamations of everlasting happiness. For Hamasaki, there is a sort of worthlessness to the emotion called love. But does that make her perspective on it wrong? According to existentialism, specifically the existentialist book The Stranger by Albert Camus, Hamasaki is not necessarily wrong at all.
That would be from a paper I wrote as a high-school freshman xD Otherwise I haven't used Ayu too much. I think I might do my senior thesis comparing international pop icons though, Ayu include :wink
