1) Namie Amuros voice is the best live voice because she dances while singing and it really sounds as good as on her CDs

2) Koda Kumi voice is good but not as good as Namies voice

3) Ayumi Hamasakis voice was really good from 2003-2006 and since then it has gone worse

Namie and Kuu of course. I voted for Kuu though. Her lower voice really sounds good on concerts. <3 And Namie's voice just blows my mind every time I watch her concerts.

For me it's Koda Kumi.
Anyone who heard Moon Crying live from Taiwan or Music Fair last week should agree with me =)

Ayu has a great vibrato effect but sometimes she is week in her voice.

Namie has no strong voice imo, even though she pulls through a concert like Best Fiction great with all that dancing!

Koda Kumi. After hearing some of her recent lives I fell in love again with her

Ayu now always sound strained (though, to me it's still listenable) sorry, Ayu-san T_T

To Namie I didn't bother to listen a lot of stuff (live or studio) cause I don't like her (i know, not fair)

in the end, it's all down to pesonal taste.
so i say Koda Kumi's is best.

even though i think Namie has the weakest voice from these 3, i think it sounds way better than Ayu's strained vocals (still love you Ayu =p).
but, in the end, i think Koda Kumi has stronger vocals and a nicer voice overall.

if Hikki was on the list... there'd be some real competition. xD

Kuu for me.
Even if she did overdo some lives, she's mostly on pitch, has a great range and much emotions and power in her voice (Moon Crying at Taiwan live, just pure love ).
Namie would be second for me, cause it's pretty and comfortable to listen to in her last tour. But it's really weak sometimes and even if she can greatly dance and sing at the same time, you aren't able to tell sometimes who's the actual singer.
And Ayu... *sigh
I really think Ayu can't sing properly anymore. I love her live voice from 2003-2006 though.

^agree! ayu's voice around that time was awesome!
the live i love her voice most in (that i've heard) is the "Itsuka no Merry Christmas" performance where she sang alone (without Gackt).

As much I love Ayu I couldn't agree with some of you about her voice now. Even if sometimes is more powerful and deep than before.
I've watched some Namie's lives and she's great at dancing and singing, but her vocals aren't so great or particular compared to Ayu or Kuu imo (even if I like a lot Namie's music).

So I've voted for Kuu. Her voice's great during lives and sounds almost exactly as the studio voice .

Picked Kumi. She's got a strong voice.
Ayu was great until her hearing problem and now she's off-key and screechy
Namie is **** live. I'm sorry, but I couldn't believe how bad she sounds live.

I'll have to go with Kuu.
Namie sounds great live but Kuu's voice is more fluid.
As for Ayu, after that 'evolution' performance a while back... I've lost all hope.

Kuu-chan of course. She has fantastic voice and because of it I'm her fan - I remember when I watched her 'sexy' PVs and I was kinda 'WTF?!' I was shocked at first. But of course I like that side of her now Her voice is very enjoyable to listen and even she's sounding bad sometimes at lives, it's not huge differency to studio version, and it's appreciated.

Not much competition; all three are rather poor live singers. Namie sounds nothing like the recorded version, Ayu goes squeaky, and Koda sometimes warps the whole song. But I do admire Ayu's emotion and the effort she puts into trying to sound ok, so I'm with her.
