also, I appreciated the performance as a showcase for the song itself. it's a new song that not everyone in the Grammy viewership has heard. for a new song, promotion of the song itself is key in it's success. i think she made the performance simply about the song and that to be the main focus rather than something completely over the top and outlandish. she danced phenomenally and I think the choreography was hot.

not to mention her VOCALS. she sounded fantastic.

Born This Way is an okay song....its not bad that's for sure.

I love how, after the backlash against Born This Way, she instantly went out in interviews basically saying "Mind you, BTW is the weakest track and the rest of the album will kick ass!"

It's her own fault for hyping BTW to insane heights. But I'll forgive her if the album really is the heroin to BTW's marijuana like she said

O she did say that?? Cool. I cant wait to hear what cooler stuff. I know the first single (in general) tends to be more...mellow and more commercial and pop
