How do you all pace yourselves?

LOL, I can see where you're coming from completely. My spending habits are absolutely horrible. My very first paycheck was gone in a matter of days (I can't even think of half the things I bought, lol) so now I'm broke and waiting for next week's check. My only real regret though is that I didn't spend it all on Ayu merchandise. Not a single thing.

At least, I didn't get scolded for it lol. I think my mom find's it amusing which just pisses me off more than her being upset about it.

a lot of credit goes to people I know outside of AHS who have been such a great help in spurring me to promote the guys even more than ever

I'm more like a backup sidekick in this aspect xD but those people I know outside of the forum , all echo the same thing -> why nobody's interested in BREAKERZ .__.

I was upset that on here nobody's interested in them as much as I do but at the end of the day , I feel/realised it's my own gain & people's loss lol

I agree with you about Avex. Who knows what they have up their sleeves. I guess we'll never know until we see what they come out with. It's exciting but I get impatient sometimes, lol.

nobody expected they would release NEXT LEVEL in a USB thumbdrive format that time when the album dropped last year

& then now for Rock'n'Roll Circus , it's the box set so yup avex's good at dishing out unexpected marketing plots in 1 way or another

I suddenly feel/think that they might packaged her 48th - 50th singles in 1 pretty packaging if not boxset after this project's wrapped up @_@

When I realized, after listening to Ayu some years, like 2007, that I wanna buy all her albums, and like her actually that much, I had and still have simply order of all the Ayu-items I`m interested in, and will buy them as the order I decided to follow.

The most important and number one Ayu-related thing that I decided to buy when I had only her A Best and just some studio albums was of course complete that collection of her main studio albums first.
I actually just recently completed that "mission". It took me 4,5 years, and that contains all of the years I`ve been a fan, since I started to like her in 2005. I was 11 then, now I`m 16.
The first ever Ayu album I bought was A Best and the first ever studio album I got was My Story. My latest purchaces, to complete that collection were LOVEppears, Duty, Miss(understood) and Secret.
So as you can see, I haven`t bought them in order. I`ve started to buy her newer albums as they have been realased just recently, maybe when GUILTY or NEXT LEVEL was realased.

So, what other things I have? Althought I have been fan almost 5 years now, I have small amount of other Ayu-things. Why? Because when I`m buying something Ayu-related, I follow that said order I have decided. That`s because there is so many Ayu-related things that I wanna buy and I wanna complete some bigger and more important segments first.

So, now that I have all of her studio albums, what I will collect next? I`m not sure yet. Maybe remix-albums, or her tours. I`m gonna probably buy her A Complete Clip Box next, because my birthday is coming [1st October, so almost the same as Ayu`s ^-^] and it`s quite expensive.

I`ve not been a fan of singles that much, so I still hesitate to buy them, unless they have some really good remixes/unrealased songs.

I also would like to collect Ayupans! ^__^ They aren`t that expensive so maybe I buy them next time when I buy something Ayu-related.

But yeah, let`s see~

Yes. My first studio album (and first ayu album period lol) was My Story too. That was two years ago around the release of MW. So far I only have RAINBOW, RnRC, and the Days/Green single (on it's way) but I hope to remedy that soon. Nowhere near Ayusaki's rate lol but I think I should have all of the studio albums + MW by year's end. Right now, I'm just going by a.) the things I really want + b.) whatever I see a good deal on so as of now, I still don't have a method of pacing lol. But I like the chaos so it suits me fine I think. I'll probably try to get some concert DVD's, ayupan, and tour merch in between purchases but my main focus is the music right now.

for me from the look of things , I just wait til next year or to get her 12th album xD

but if avex's going to release like I don't know a boxset containins her 48th - 50th singles & throw in a premium item or 2 , then I might consider

Thank you, because I was certainly getting out of hand, lol. That would be awesome if they released a boxset like that. Great idea Karen! I'd definetely consider buying her singles if they did something special like that.

I find myself slowing down too. I think because I've gotten all of her studio albums (except missunderstood...still) and some of her DVD concerts that I wanted.

That's exactly what it is for me. I've gotten all of her studio albums except for three, I only need to buy two more compilation albums, and I've aquired a good amount of DVDs that I haven't even gotten to watch yet. I hope this slow down period lasts for a while because I could use the break, lol.

well like what I said before , the only releases I care in getting are her studio & best compilation albums , all in OS press format

I don't really bother with other things & when comes to concert DVDs , I will only watch it once which's really terrible so at least by axing that out , I can save quite a considerable amount of $ xD

BREAKERZ's latest DVD BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2009～2010 “FIGHTERZ” ate quite a bit of my $ last month where I phonked in close to S$100 + inclusive of shipping X_X

So I consider myself quite sane/lucky in this aspect cos on 1 hand I'm just getting the bare essentials of ayumi , on the other , I really let myself go crazy for BREAKERZ

I buy only what I REALLY want, for starters. Which usually ends up being full albums, remix albums, and singles with a lot of remixes on them. So, I don't have, like, any of Ayu's newer singles. And I've never been interested in any of the Ayu "swag." (dolls, keychains, etc., etc.) (Although, if I can find one at a geed price, I might get a cellphone strap...)

Sadly, I only like the Jaoan Versions, so everything is kinda more expensive, but I'll usually check eBay and wherever I may be able to get things cheaper.

Also, whenever my family and I go to New York, if we happen to go to NYC, I always check Book-Off.

But as of late, VOCALOID seems to have taken priority over CDs. And with those rediculous prices (200 USD each O_o) I haven't bought any CDs lately. But even before that, it seems like my CD purchases had been slowing down.

I always seem to have a problem spending money. Unless something is less than 15 USD, I seem to have to physically (and painfully (like, mentally painful, not physically painful))) force myself to buy whatever it is...
