I'm sorry someone is stealing your translations and posting them on Facebook. The only thing I ever do is save the pictures for myself, I've never shared them anywhere. I don't understand what is so hard about people asking for permission to use them. It's probably a member who only comes for info and downloads and never posts.

Yeah I know right. This has been quite a dilemma. Because I'm sure all those people reposting the entries elsewhere are AHS members too, so even if we have a protected area in AHS, it's still accessible to them.

And the main loophole with a locked blog is also that, even with the blog, I'll still post the translations at AHS first for at least 24 hours, so people wanting to steal can still have time to do so. I don't want to bypass AHS completely and just post at the locked blog, unless there's really no choice. So yeah...

If we really start a locked blog, I'll definitely need help with design, setting up and maintenance. Definitely easier said than done, but I'm glad you offered to help.

you're welcome Misa! i just feel like with all the work you do, we should be willing to help YOU out as well. and even though i don't always post in your TA translation threads, i really feel thankful to you for translating for us.

maybe there is a way that to see a TA entry you first have to comment? then you'd at least have a record of everyone who has looked at it? or a log in system where you could keep track of who looked? that way it would narrow it down if they started being shared somewhere else. all in all, its a lot of work though.

if you do start a locked blog, i'd be more than happy to help with maintaining it, moving entries to the blog from ahs, or even creating the TA jpeg files from your translations.

Yeah, I'm interested about that. Maybe also any other prerequisites besides at least 100 posts? Maybe like how many days active? And how about the usage of usergroups for who's allowed to be in the proposed locked area?

That's a good idea, but at the same time, it isn't. For one, there are people like me who come here quite often, but only post every now and again. It took me a year to join and then another year to make it to 100 posts, which I only did recently. Despite that, I go through periods of checking AHS at least three times a day--it's not a matter of how dedicated I am to the forum or to Ayu, it's simply that I don't post often.

If you make posting a requirement, you'll just end up with spam, unfortunately.
