Yup. I am not saying those numbers aren't great btw and they are obviously the reason they aren't uploading the full PVs to Youtube.

It'd be nice if Ayu released another JEWEL-like song or a STEP you. I mean who DOESN'T know 1, 2, 3, 4 YOU and ME? Haha. Even my parents know it... bahaha. A lot of her songs lately are awesome (to fans) but to people who aren't Ayu fans listening to the songs often, I think it's like listening to a popular artist's album tracks as opposed to a single that gets addicting after a listen or two.

But japanese fans seem to really love Days more than Sunrise or TogethervWhen... (according to the last year poll)

^ that's exactly why I said that Days was better received within her fan base and not the general public.

When it's out of the top 300 weekly.
Probably Less than 250-300 copies. |

Wow, so i wonder how you find out how many copies are sold... there has to be a way to see how many copies have been sold say two years after the fact..
or is it something that avex releases...? |

After it's out of oricon top 300 weekly there's no way to know but these days only if an album is on top 50-100 you can say how much it sells every week after a release is dropped off the top 100.
There used to be Under 101 charts by livedoor blogs oricon subscribers but there isn't anymoer unfortunately, but for Love songs, it's out of the top 300 so there's no way to know how much it sells (or anything else that is out of the top 300). |

Still... it's not like it stopped charted for good... those albums with small sales have very close numbers, 20 sales can make a huge difference on the chart... So, it may chart again for some weeks later...

aiko had 2 best ofs released which have done quite well if you want to count those in as well, JUJU should be releasing an album sooner or later, but that could go both ways. Kana should have no problems selling over 400k though. Last edited by njanjayrp; 16th June 2011 at 07:59 AM. |
