Me too. We've had far too many cutesy songs from AKB. There are so many I can't even distinguish some of them from one another. Gingham Check is so incredibly derivative and devoid of personality and anything worthwhile. I'm extremely disappointed that THIS is the song Yuko "gets" to center for after all this time. It's not even up to par for being the Undergirls song, never mind the freaking A-side.

At the very least, I'm excited about the album. I thought it was going to be another best like Kamikyokutachi, with just every B-side after Koko ni Ita Koto slapped on there, but another original album with a **** ton of new songs? Now I'm excited, especially to see there's an Atsumina song and a MARIKO solo. Holy crap. The new single may be ****, but there's bound to be some gems on the album.

^yup it's candy, [Ice No Mi], same candy as last year where they had a CG Eguchi Aimi with 7 members' body/ facial parts.

There's a manga written for it too, story by the same author who wrote Detective Conan. You can read the first chapter here.

And YES, I'm really looking forward to all the songs on the new album, I'm amazed it's all new stuff and not just all that's on the singles!! Yesssss!

Well the song still sucks for an election single, but the PV certainly seems like it'll be interesting. Hard to even tell where he's going with it though. I'm not seeing much of what he's saying it's supposed to be, but then again we haven't seen the finished product. And of course they had to put Acchan in it...

omg! I've just came back from a-nation Asia Progress-А! my god, this was crazy!! AKB48 had performed like for more than one hour! and they singed all the famous songs like:

Flying Get was hot!!! There were fires and it felt hot even in arena! Btw I got perfect seats! Just in the front of round catwalk! I saw Acchan, Takamina, Yuko, Tomochin and others so close!!! I bought tickets 2 days ago and they were exchange tickets, so I prepared myself to seat faaaar away from the stage! Haha! Jesus, I was soooo happy when the staff told me to go to the arena and then I came to block B, the second row the first seat!! Goddddd!!!!! We were so lucky!!!!

Oh and also there were solo performances like Acchan and Mayuyu sang their latest new songs! though I wish Acchan also performed Flower! Lol to be honest it was a big surprise that they performed their solo and groups songs. Yuko and other girls performed and also Takamina, Minami and 1 girl sang too. Tomochin was sexy!! ooh she danced just in front of us! OMG! She was sooooo hot! And I'm glad she was smiling today, because I noticed that in some recent tv-lives she looks bored, never smiles and dances like she's forced too. But today she was great!

Between the performances they also talked very much. Yuko, Mayuyu, Mariko, Haruna and others did some kind of swimming contest while Acchan and othere were changing. that was fun. I think they were talking about summer memories and someone (Kojima?) said about swimming and then they forced her to show how she dives and swims lol!

Today was also a big hanabi (fireworks) event, so people who went to the concert missed it. Takamina said about it and thanked us for coming to the concert instead of hanabi. Ohhh Takamina's so nice!

Oh by the way in the beginning they also made self-introduction! Haha

Niiiice, this concert was niiiice! Too bad I'm not going to the Tokyo Dome live, because I'll leave Tokyo on August 20th But, at least I saw Acchan with AKB! And they did great performance, not like 20 minutes like I thought it's going to be.
