I was SO surprised by the You & Me MV. I honestly thought that they must have been dating because you know how ayu is with that kind of stuff; rarely taking part in the PDA kind of thing, you know~ And I found it bizarre that it was Maro was in the MV in the first place.

My question is, how do you decide a relationship with each other after knowing each other for that long? I figured people you've been that close to would just be too much of a good friend to consider dating.

I'm really suspicious. Not because I don't like this pair, actually it seems like a good pair for each other. But this is honestly too good timing. Once again, her sales are down, she has no number one album this year, and it's getting down to the wire. again is the only album to keep her record going. And honestly, each time she has a release lately, she has some kind of news item that shocks people. Starting with Love songs, continuing with Party Queen, and now again. And she needs it this time.

I don't want to be a downer or whatever, but Im starting to believe the critics now... it's really sad. But, it's too suspicious.

you're not alone. I'm also not happy about this kind of news poping out when she has some releases. if she needs promotion, why won't she just go and sing on TV?!! I feel really annoyed about it.

anyways, I hope she'll marry him, get pregnant and shut up about her private life for at least some years. sorry for rudeness, I'm just fed up.

Are you really blaming this on Ayu? Even if she 'shut up' about her private life, the media would definitely not miss out on the opportunity to bring it up.

I don't think she can really control these kinds of things... they just happen. Since most of the years recently are spent touring, the only times that anything is ever really 'announced' or ends up being 'breaking news' is when she's not touring which also tends to be the periods of time where she releases as of late.

I don't doubt the timing is calculated. But I don't thinks he's dating/marrying/divorcing for album sales.

I agree actually. No one is saying she is getting married and divorced to sell records but I think the timing of the news coming out is the issue; they didn't just get together yesterday, they've been dating for a while if I understand the article correctly and we just found out. The idea is to put her back in the limelight somehow and this sort of news might do it since much of the general public doesn't know she has a new release out (or that she still has a singing career lol). If you think about it, it isn't anything earth shattering like her marrying or divorcing etc but ultimately its promo for the lazy. (but why the fake kiss in you and me, then?)
They're cute together that's for sure. And Maro has yet to ruin every PV he's in unlike a certain someone lol

I think it's just a coincidence just like the other times that we've also gotten news. (her ear issues... we knew something was going on and she had the examination at some point around that time she announced it, the marriage... which happened because she was in the process of releasing singles for a brand new album in 2010 after Rock'n'Roll Circus, the divorce which ended up *somehow* being a result of the earthquake in 2011... etc.) It could also be the media choosing to reveal it now after having 'confirmed' the rumor. If we get more 'breaking news stories' in the next 4 months of releases, then it may be VERY suspicious but for now I think people are just reading too much into when things happen.

It's not like again has a chance of getting #1 anyway. Isn't it up against two EXILE bests and two YUI bests?

The ear thing, the hand injury, the marriage, the divorce, and now the serious relationship. They all have happened within the same time of the year, the most important sales period of the year. The end of the year represents the busiest shopping season, sales going on, etc.

I dont doubt the ear thing and the hand injury, and the marriage was so surprising I thought it was fake, but I accepted that as real, and the divorce... well everyone saw that coming. But now this, at the same time of the year... something's wrong.

Honestly, Ayu is still kind of popular, but is by no means that one would actually care really if her article was printed in the tabloids. First, the people who read the tabloids don't give a damn about Ayu anymore, they are interested in AKB and Johnny's exploits. Secondly, I dont honestly believe that the tabloids would make that big of a deal over her "seriously dating" her back up dancer because it honestly wouldnt sell as news. Dekichatta Kekkon, okay it will be big news.

If you look at Yahoo website for this news article, all the comments are negative. There is not one good comment about her, and they all are saying "who the eff cares?"

I dont even want to say this way, trust me. I'm not trying to make a fight or whatever, it's just... I'm kind of tired of this happening at the exact same time of year. It's a repeat now, and when I read one of the comments, it's exactly how I felt: "So now every year end we get to look forward to a new relationship from Hamasaki Ayumi. Oh, great -.-"

Yahoo Japan is not a tabloid site. Most, if not all Japanese, regard all news reported by Yahoo to be real and validated.
