Akurei, that's a very lengthy and empty post you had... kinda annoying also (stress kinda, coz i was stupid enuff to slowly scroll instead of using the scroll bar at the side>>>)
Anyways Hikki has powerful vocal and unique lyrics (does she writes all of them?) While Ayu has strong emotions and myriad of styles Yea both of them are unique, and depending on my mood, sometimes i go for powerful emotions rather than vocal and vice versa |

I used to dislike Hikki, but I was wrong
I like both girls, but aren't they different?! ![]() Hikki is good at what she does and Ayumi...well, let's say she's good in what she does too, although I find her recent songs meaningless and kinda repetitive there's a winner in such battle?! there's only one winner, as always, AVEX TRAX ![]() (who only has nothing but money and PR for every battle, for every rumour) Last edited by ayu_ready?; 24th July 2006 at 07:01 PM. |

To me, both of them are great. I mean, Ayu is Ayu. She is unquestionnable queen of Japanese music. But Hikaru.. her songs are so different, that sometimes you just cannot label them as pop.. unique. I may not listen to Hikki as long and as frequently as Ayu, but I respect her

IMO there isn't any case in music where you can really put a "vs" tage on with the exception of sales. It's an intangible thing, and everybody can listen to whatever kind of music they prefer. In the end, everybody wins, and nobody loses.
And I hate sounding so "serious" and "philosophical". |

in my case, i don't really care. It's not bothering me, i just dislike the fact that some hikki's fans bash ayu without listening to ayu's music first. that is the only things that irritates me.

each has their own unique songs and beats and poetry, but....I would have to say for me, Ayu would be my choice. After Exodus, Utada kinda just slipped to me. I didn't really enjoy Wings and the English version of Passion, because there was something different in Utada's voice. Ayumi can have a strong voice, or a soft voice, and pull it off great.
