It was amazing! Fun, sexy, lots of eye candy! The effects were cheesy but overall it was a very entertaing video. I'm lovin' the new sexy ayu!

Wow, this PV really does divide opinions. Other half love it and the other half hate it. I'm not sure if that's a good thing.. I still hope this will be BIG. The song is amazing! I hope Born to be.. will be better than this (then it must be unbelievable) and the PV should be a masterpiece! And it will be! Because I just decided so.

I don't think she is making fun of them. I think the director clearly intended to make a parody of American music videos and movies just for fun. Though I myself have actually seen "Kill Bill" only.

I can't decide if I like this or not. lol

Good: Production value; It's nice to see an energetic, fast paced vid from Ayu; I like the Kill Bill homage(I think it is tribute, not copying); I LOVE the song.

Bad: It's just a bunch of unrelated string of scenes put together(if there is a relation between them, I'm just not seeing it); It's weird, but not in a good way like Ladies Night or alterna; The guy at the counter was obviously not American or British - he's speaking english but I could barely understand what he said - that won't matter to the Japanese public, but for English speakers I think that bit at the begining kind of takes them out of the video; The begining in the chaps and pink top is just "too Britney" for me - it does look ALOT like the Overprotected outfit Brit wore and Ayu's dancing here is too Britneyish for my taste. I always get pissed when people compare Ayu to Britney, but now with this video it will be harder for me to refute that.

And I'm not sure how to rank the ending. lol. It was funny, but I don't get what it was supposed to mean.

Edit: However, if this is indeed a parody, then I love it!

Hopefully Ayu will give an interview to clear this up.

Sorry to say but I think it's the real pv ^_^; however it seems true that the director is indeed using stereotypical scenes of the American pop world. Also this video definately isn't one to be taken seriously.

I think the problem is, is that if it is a parody it doesn't go far enough in that direction to make it clear that it is. With Ayu, her stuff is almost always so serious that it is hard to tell when she might be joking or not in her work.

I'm completely in love with this PV! It doesn't matter to me that it's just a fun PV without deep meaning because it's entertaining and it easily beats STEP you's PV in my opinion. What a great way to start off the new year ^_^

And I do think that it's a parody of American music videos, but mainly Britney.

Ayu looks really good in the new PV. The PV feels fresh & the song is pretty good.

also , I agree Ayu should definitely take some dancing lessons if she wants to have coreographies in her PVs

have you guys ever stopped to thinkt hat she may actually not see this as a parody? some people here act like shes the most intellectual person and all her PVs have some crazy meaning. Maybe she just wants to have fun like a normal singer?

i think the beginning scene of two guys talking in a video store is like a foreshadow of telling people that ayu will be doing parody. I dun see Britney or Christina in the video; I do see Kill Bill, and I see the dancers in the black scene represents zombie somehow... So it seems like ayu is in a video game instead. I dun understand the stage part (where ayu dancing with the girls, mitsu and gomi) tho.

Hmmn.. it really depends on how I look at the video. If I'm looking for creativity/ideas, this video only gets 2 or 3/10. On the other hand, I will give 8/10 for the fun of this video.. tho I really think ayu should not dance anymore.. She just keeps doing the same dance everytime I see her..

I second this! I absolutely LOVED this PV. It's stunning. It fits the song so well, it's entertaining and ayu actually looks sexy without being "cute" in it.

THis sons is what you get if you mix both songs from the INSPIRE single.

And you gotta LOVE those COWBOY PANTS!

i thought ayu herself looked amazing.

the rest was kinda..bleh..but it was still cool. I was expecting something cooler from the mu-mo preview

and it the parody theory is true....it would amke perfect sense cuz of the ending..

but still. when other ppl's PVs look similar to Ayu's you guys say tis copying but when Ayu's videos look like other's you gusy say tis a parody.
