when you track her music career from beginning to now, what else is left to do? To me its all been done... ayu should move over to classical like shimatani

(only because shimatani's genre is my favourite at the moment)

They're all separate entities in my opinion, but in in other people's viewpoints they're like.. the same song xD

The structures are exactly the same, the melodies are similar(very similar in some cases), and the general feeling that the music gives off is similar as well. You could also add Grateful Days to that list. Those are all matters of composition.

See, plenty of summer released songs that have some originality. I'm hoping that Beautiful Fighters will be like that, but the preview isn't very impressive thus far.

Beautiful Fighters seems like its going to be a good song. "we are beautiful fighters" keeps on replaying in my head!

I guess I should've said recent summer songs, since some of her old ones are really good~ and don't seem to conform to the 'wow, this is summery' formula. :p

Should alterna/GAME count? Oh well. xD I really like those old ones too! But.. I still like these similar sounding songs :] Bring on ANGEL'S SONG 6.0!~

Like I had said earlier, this song reminds me of ANGEL'S SONG, which is weird because I became really in love with that song about a month ago when I had the Memorial Address CD for so long now, lol... Oh believe me, I'm the same way.

But I can't deny that some of Kumi's recent songs like Wind, Someday, and You have actually been pretty good and have deserved their sales.

Honestly, yeah, it does have a mix of Born to be... and fairyland.

BUT

to me, the message reminds me of "Endless Sorrow". Or at least like its reciprocal or something.

It reminds me of July 1st, but better. The verses are pretty. I do wish the choruses would be a little better.

The verses are so pretty IMO.

I like it! I agree that it's not VERY special, and it does remind me a lot of fairyland, ANGEL'S SONG,...etc., but I think this will grow on me eventually like all the other Ayu songs did XD.

Now I'm curious about what the lyrics are talking about hehe ^.^

What about NOTHING FROM NOTHING? Haha, I love that she explores new genres, it's refreshing and gives her respect as an artist.

Anyway back on topic, I love BLUE BIRD! Definitely one of my favorite single songs in a while...while I love them all, this one is definitely going to be staying in my head, and I can see myself singing this one years from now at Karaoke!

I hope Ayu could write songs by herself, not only the lyrics...

so far, Ayu does not have to release singles so frequently. Just relax, and write some songs...

The song is nice, but the singing sounds just like all the other poppy songs :/
