THOUGHTS ON "SECRET" :30 PREVIEWS...

Well, I think she might be able to rework Startin' and Born to Be.. maybe.

I kind of feel like this album has most in common with I am...

I also wanted to do a track-by-track, =P, ater listening a bit more to the songs:

Not yet: Sounds like house music, something along the lines of kylie when she "returned" to the scene. I LOVE this preview, I mostly like ayu's more upbeat electronic stuff.

Untill that day: The one that wrote this was like evolution wasen't wrong. But the melody is a lot flatter, and it's not grasping me the way evolution did. It's definetly an upbeat and catchy track though, and I*m really looking forward to hearing the full verison.

1LOVE: I like untill that day more, the end of the melody sounds a bit too familiar to me.

Overall I feel like these three songs (Startin', Not yet and UNtill that day) compliment each other nicely. They sound similar and sounds like they are making up a triplette much like liar/HorP/Happy ending did.

It was: Sounds like it could've been on MY STORY (And maybe it was supposed to be?? =P ) I like it, but it's a bit anonynomous.

kaleidosc.. eh I mean LABYRINTH: This is definetly HAL creativity dried out. It sounds a bit out of place actually.

JEWEL: I love this song already.. <3

momentum: This sounds quite alright, I'm excited to hear the full version, because I wonder how the transition JEWEL to this will work out. And also from this to tastinst. I don't want another HEAVEN-> are you wake up? disaster.

taskinst: sounds pretty nice. I don't like tasuku's former work for ayu that much, and this doesen't really sound that good either, but it stands out at least.

for some reason I actually dident find BTB annoying in the preview.

kiss'o'kill also I think there's a lot to expect from, allthough the melody sounds a bit bland compared to the rest of the album as for now. But I'm looking forward to hear more of the strings.

Secret: I like this a lot. I think it separates itself from the album, and I like the melody.

I am really not as excited as I was before (m)u, mostly because singles haven't been all that this year, and also because (m) u disappointed quickly.

I think it's a good thing she left It was for this album though It's a really nice song!! and to me, all the songs on this album currently are GREAT!
Makes album super ...worth money! thus lots of sales! XD

I didn't listen to the previews but... Reading everybody's descriptions and thoughts about the new songs made me smile. I can't wait to hear the songs!

Born To Be... and Startin' should have new mixes, as they existed for download as previews. It's hard to hear with the low sound quality, in BTB it's pretty easy to hear it's new.

I don't think BB or BF have new ones, as they aren't available as preview tracks.

Not yet: SUPER COOL! from energetic in to trance and there's lyrics..sorta like everlasting dream from RAINBOW then turn in to Are You Wake Up.

until that Day: it does sounds like evolution a bit...consistant fast paced songs with a better ayu vocal in it

1 LOVE: Ayu's vocal is awesome in this song and the way she sings it...very different from any song she've done in the past, a lot better than the panasonic cm preview(I like the end when it changes).

LABRYINTH: HAL! Kaleidoscope pt 2

JEWEL: now that I listen to it more, it sounds more like CAROLS mixed in Dearest

momentum: is like M pt 2, and I LOVE IT!

taskinst: I actualliy want this to make in to a full song too...sounds like something Evanescense would sing though

kiss o' kill: dark rock with nice instrumental that you CAN hear it..unlike the
synthed songs like GAME or Because of You

Secret: now this song...by far is my most favorite ballad that ayu have released
very sweet, soothing and emotional/sad

I LOVED MY STORY still loving (m)u but with every new release, i feel it tops the other (its only me,..i guess) Secret tops everything!

MY STORY was strong in the songs with PVs
(m)u was strong in single tracks
Secret is strong in album tracks

Nice way to start an album. I like the beat after it comes in! Awesome. 8.5/10

02. until That Day...
CRAZY! CRAZY CRAZY! So fast! i think its gonna be tougher to sing than evo but i'll try!..Very gd! 9.5/10

03. Startin'
It has never failed for me. I still like the beat and everything in it. 9/10

04. 1 LOVE
At first then Panasonic first had it, it sounded monotone and bad. But then i grew and grew and now IT ROCKS BIG TIME!!!! Full of attitude! 1 LOVE IT. The PV isnt bad too. 10/10

05. It was
This song is ok. Startin to grow on me a little. very LOVEppears feel. 7.5/10

06. LABYRINTH
defintely Kaleidoscope pt 2. I think its calming and i hope it ends in a sweet way. Not some climatic stop. 8/10

07. JEWEL
VERY NICE BALLAD! It grew on me a lot! Sweet. The piano is totally pretty! It has a great PV too. 10/10

08. momentum
This is the next BEST album track. Glad it is given a PV. the tune is great. Love it. 10/10

This time. i feel nth for this. maybe have to hear the actual first. tasking was very very gd. 6/10

I think this song still has the power! Seems like there is a new version but i cant hear the diff..LOL..so hope sth is done. 8/10

11. Beautiful fighters
I find this song ok. ONce in a while, the happy sounding makes it really nice. And the english is not bad in there. Haha. 7/10

12. BLUE BIRD
yes, fairyland pt 2. But so what. I LOVE it. The beat and verse is gd for me. 9/10

13. kiss o' kill
Whoa...Wonderful. Blew me away when the chorus came suddenly. Im looking forward to it since after the chorus, there is the orchestral feel to it. Heartplace? 10/10

14. Secret
Its growing on me. Very sweet and traditional i think. 8/10

A ballad with quite a bit of texture in terms of voice and delivery...

I won't call this a rock album still...Always considered Ayu to have pop rock and not rock songs

Overall I think I may like it more than (miss)understood.(Hopefully it's better)
Just hope the songs don't turn out to be filler songs.

Overall I think this COULD be my favourite album! I appreciate all the songs from this album except for 1 or 2

I'm too lazy to do reviews for each of the 30 second previews. I think I'll probably only do so when I hear the full tracks. But I'm loving what I'm hearing so far. I think this album is really strong in its album tracks. That's good because you are able to enjoy the album fully.

I still got to hear the full versions of the songs to know whether it could possibly top as my favourite Ayu album.
