Thoughts on talkin' to myself PV

I've been watching this pv many times now and I still can't believe how ayu can look like she was back in 2001! I showed my mom this pv and she was like..."This just came out?? Why does she still look so young? She looked like that few years ago!" (She saw my dome tour dvd)

Didn't she just add dancers to her entourage? So couldn't this be like a debut? Yeah?

But like everyone said, this had REAL potential for a deeper PV (i.e. RAINBOW, Ladies Night, walking proud), with much more behind it than this. HOWEVER, I do feel that this WILL improve sales, only because this is a look and feel that people haven't really gotten from Ayu before... Plus, you can spot the cover from a mile away.

Before DOME TOUR 2001 she had a huge troupe of dancers formed, so I dunno..

ok I love it !!! But it's too inspire in a dirty way.... Ayu who wears a cap at the end... so Inspire... etc...
I think that I hoped more about the story of that video. here there's nothing... I expected more of that

About the dancing in my opinion:

- ayu and the dancers did a great job on this PV.
- The dance DID fit this PV and even helped the concept.
- No I don't think it lacks the plot, I know why ayu and the director left the PV like this.
(doubt ayu would ruin for herself) the dance showed the rage and war-like feeling ayu wanted to put into this PV so it had the dance side and the plot side with the kids, which is awesome.
- The moves did fit to the song.

Otherwise people really exaggerate about the dancings and take it too seriously =P

It's kinda boring to me. :/ It seems so commercial and typical, without any type of plot. I was expecting better, even if it is better than some of her other PVs. XD It seriously reminds me of Bi's "I'm coming" PV which features the same army dancers in a war zone.

I would have preferred something like Because of You or alterna. D:

Thing is that everytime people want ayu to do fresh stuff and when ayu does something new/fresh like talkin' 2 myself PV people aren't satisfy and she has to satisfy all her fans, people that like her songs or some songs of her on the planet =P so funny.

Whenever it's new it's boring for people... lol.
I think ayu should repeat herself for a lot of fans sake xD.

dissapointing, i didnt like the idea of children in music videos and her head turn at the end (dance) was corny. It wasnt all that great but the song was alright. I hope she doesnt have any more rock songs for a while and concentrates on her better pop-dance songs like STEP you. STEP you was her last best effort imo.

overall~ 6/10

however, my genre preference change has slightly effected my overall view on the song and PV itself

I dun think this is new.. She has been adding dancers in her pvs since.. real me? Sometimes I do wish that she will be doing something like Dearest, SURREAL, appears.. talkin' 2 myself does have potential to bring out a pv like that... But I guess ayu wanna do something else (doesn't mean new..).

I wasn't talking about the dancers lol.
I was talking about the overall idea, ayu maybe danced already too but not like she danced in talkin' 2 myself, and I don't think it's really like any other PV (well looks like NEVER EVER theme but that's all).
It's just something we didn't get yet, we did now and that what happened ^_^.

I believe the dancers at times help the concept too when someone play a role or they just dance and ayu do the role.

No, I'm saying that her dancers were never a main feature [once a year, maybe.] in the PVs until 2006 came along and had them in almost every PV that year.. x.x


IMO, the dancing should've been TV appearance only, while the PV had a different side of the story.

Hence STEP you's weird gift+boydance on TV and the quadAyu in the PV..
