No, ayu was announcing her deaf ear because her voice was off in the CDL, not because of something she shouldn't say, that's a totally different thing.

Please, stop talking about ayu's deafness that careless .

It's a totally different thing, plus ayu's not guilty of becoming deaf, while koda's deffinitely GUILTY (pun word.....sorry) for saying that.

So please, no way of comparing it

WOW that is so clever O_O! lol

^ I so agree with you that is two different situation. What Kuu said is REALLY offensive IMO and i am sure the reaction would be the same no matter which country we're in..... Honestly saying someone's fluids will become rotten is not a ncie thing to say =_= it is an accident tho so I am sure kuu will be forgiven sooner or later. And plus there were already signs of Ayu's deafness from before... I am sure she wasn't really "guilting" people to buy her albums

I'm sorry, but I dont agree with you. Ayu was simply stating that because she realized she was off-key during the CDL07-08, not because she was trying to get people to pity her. I seriously think Ayu wouldnt do something like that, not because she's a saint, but because she doesnt care about her streak nor her sales, because she already has her position at avex secure, so I see no need for her to do something of the sort.

Besides, Ayu's hearing problem was something that's likely not caused by herself, whereas Koda's problem was brought upon herself. I really think that japanese people are overreacting though. She said her thoughts, and people are treating that as if she said the world's worst thing ever. I mean seriously, give her a break, she already apologized!

It's not really a big deal, this has been blown out of proportion.

And this is coming from me who doesn't really like Kumi in the first place.

hmmm...
to us, maybe we can just laugh it off when we see a celebrity did this.
but to the japanese, it's different and very rude to them.
I agree that if we understand more about the japanese culture, we can understand why it is such a big deal to them.
IMHO, I dun really care.

Wait, why are you on an Ayu board if you would say something so insanely ridiculous about her? That's a serious load of BS right there.

I chose "it's not a big deal", but I that's what an occidental girl thinks, I don't now if in japan, this kind of topics are either taboo or rude to talk about. I hope she can continue with her life, cause everybody makes mistakes...even silly ones

ugh it's a load of crap. People need to get over it.

It's not like it isn't dangerous for women over 35 to have kids. The risks most definitely go up.

But whatever...if anything, this just shows that Kuu is ignorant about these things. It's not her fault. I doubt that there isn't other women in Japan who think the same.

People need to get over themselves already. And people need to also stop bringing it up. It's ridiculous.

Get over it already was my answer. I really can't understand why it was so big of a deal anyway, but it was different culture, so I'm not saying anything to it anymore. I'm going to say that it should be forgotten already.

I dont think its that bigger deal, but it was such a random way to answer the question, how bout saying 'they should have it early, because it gets harder for women to get pregnant when they are older' which is correct and isnt a blunt as their fluid goes rotten lol. But it doesnt matter that much, just shows a lil bit that she is random and a little silly.
