what happened to that one million baht she donated to Thailand's anti-drug program? She was awarded some title, but never showed up to the ceremony, causing a controversy.

i dont think ayu helped the poor, at least not telling everyone.

but apart from the A Song is born single.
ayu did promote things about love & peace.

she promoted LOVE & PEACE during 2002,
then ASIA IS ONE in 2007.

so i suppose she's anti-war?

If one is sincere about donating to the charity, one need not be recognised, one only needs to be recognised by himself or herself. If one is more interested in getting fame, there's no point.

Furthermore.. Charities nowadays aren't so reliable afterall, doughs might be conned unexpectedly..

Being recognized isn't bad either. Maybe some people need role models and good examples. If the intent was only and only to be recognized, then it's pointless. I personally like to know who is donating and who is not and if it's a genuine donation. Actually, my role model is a donator, and I'm glad I know about it.
