I think even if it's true, nobody deserves suspending and the like. Honestly, he's 28 years old. Sure he is an idol but...well...how can I put this? I think the lives they have to live are extremely hard. I mean, I don't want to justify it if he really took or takes drugs, but...I know so many people in real life that smoke this stuff to relax. Maybe it's really cultural differences but I don't think it's such a big deal. I'm just so worried about how this is treated in Japan, they really make a fuss over the slightest thing.

I guess we'll find out soon. If this gets big media coverage or something, we'll probably have news clips and such soon, huh?

still, Aiba wasn't suspended or anything for his scandal and Ohno had alot more to bring to the table than Aiba... like he's arguably the best singer and dancer in Arashi... without him, Arashi WILL cease to exist... *shrugs and prays it is all lies*

Yes, making millions of dollars just by singing and dancing must be terrible. What a horrible life, so let's make excuses and exceptions for people breaking the law and being on drugs If someone does something illegal, they should pay.

Those pictures were from 2005 and taken when he was drunk with friends. So maybe whoever said he's smoking weed mixed it up with him being drunk.

also, these boys were in the spotlight starting really young so they don't know what it's like to lead a normal life.
plus, i don't think they r THAT rich just by being Johnny's. I think Johnny knows how to handle his money and since the stormy boys (and all Johnny's) basically sing and dance and do little or almost nothing of the song writing, arranging, choreographing, and scheduling, they don't get paid as much as we think they do...

ummm, Johnny's have the most stressful jobs. it's not easy being them, so i don't know why you think they get off easily. if Ohno were to get suspended, HE WILL BE. reputation is everything in Japan. if he's found guilty, Johnny's Jimusho will cut all ties with Ohno. they fired Hikaru GENJI's Akasaka Akira when he got caught doing meth and cancelled everything he was affiliated with (musicals, appearances, etc.)

Uchi Hiroki and Kusano Hironori got suspended back in 2005/2006 for underage drinking and they didn't return to their groups when JE decided to let them work again. they got demoted back to Johnny's Juniors status. they're on the same level as 8-16 year olds.

so yeah, Ohno will pay the price. Japanese idols don't get elite status like the celebrities here in Hollywood or whatever.

...but first, he needs to be found guilty (there have been false information about Johnny's before). we will definitely know if he will get suspended/fired or whatever. Johnny's rumors bring in the cash to tabloids. it's like finding gold, so i'm not going to say anything further about the subject until there is other news stories from Yahoo!JP, Sponichi, and other news-worthy sites or news clips.

Johnny's boys have the most stressful jobs? What??? How about firefighters, policemen, soldiers, etc. who put their lives on the line every day? How about businessmen who have to work 12+ hr days, or teachers who have to deal with violent students? Doctors who save lives and are in the ER for 10+ hrs during surgeries? i've dealt with false accusations since i've became a Johnny's fangirl so it's not really a big deal. i'm sure it's only a story to stir up the fanbase. if it's found false, Johnny's Ent could always sue whoever made the story.

haha, and "Maou" is on air too. it's too coincidental. like, when that false story about Kame drinking underage came about...i don't know...a month before their debut?

EDIT: ddd, have you seen their work schedule? most of these boys only get 2-3 hours sleep at night. and Johnny's do not make millions, i'm sorry if you don't know. the talent agency takes their money.

it happens when a certain member is getting some publicity and fame. it's so stupid and unfair. it sucks that the JE boys have almost no privacy and way too many bitter haters, lol.

If Ohno wants to get drunk, let him. But I really doubt he's used drugs, this "story" leaking is just way to coincidental. Maou just started airing a while ago, Arashi is releasing a new single in a few weeks, they'll be hosting a HUGE charity program and then embarking on an Asia Tour right after. It seriously don't believe this. Not unless I get REAL proof.

Remember that Sho's "sex friend" scandal also leaked when D"A"l was going to be released. And Nino's relationship with Masami Nagasawa was also reported during their concert tour.

She said they have "the most stressful job", which is an insult to people with ACTUALLY stressful jobs. Sorry, but their jobs do not seem so hard that they need to resort to ILLEGAL DRUGZ. If he really did that then he needs to get kicked out ASAP.

Hmm... I've read about the scandal, but I hadn't seen the pictures until I came on this thread.
Okay... apparently those pictures were taken back in 2005. So it's tabloids looking to dirty the image of popular singers/actors, etc... 'cause that's their job.
There's no proof that Ohno was under the influence of drugs, only those girls' account. BUT those pictures sure will cast a huge shadow over Leader's image. Just when he got his first drama role! Just when Arashi's on top!! (but that was calculated by the tabloids, right?).
It was terribly irresponsible of him, I believe, since he's such a high-profile artist. But what's done is done.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how things are handled by Ohno's superiors and how the (unforgiving Japanese) public deals with this.
And let's wait for the next high-profile scandal to errupt! Haha.
