w00t, that just seems to be A COMPLETE's pattern, it'll go down when the new releases are out (as expected) and then it bounces back up very quickly... It's great to see it's going so strong! For Ayu's career I'm sure this isn't out of the norm, but since I wasn't looking into her sales until GUILTY, this is such a treat for me

AC has really great chart longevity! Yeah, it plummets whenever new releases are released, then it slowly crawls back again. 800k is in sight!

It has sold more than Secret and GUILTY. A BEST II has sold more, but individually they have sold less than A COMPLETE

Unfortunately though oricon didn't count A BEST 2 as one unit even though it was 1 project and were released on the same day ... so A COMPLETE ~ALL SINGLES~ is ayu's best selling album since (miss)understood. ^__^

I don't think it should count as one unit since BLACK and WHITE are separate purchases and don't come as a package deal. With that said, it feels even better knowing that A COMPLETE is her most expensive album since m(u) but also the best selling album since m(u)

Yea, the word is compilation albums sell better than studio albums in Japan. This was a compilation album with all her A-side single releases. People who aren't fans might even just check it out when they see 10th anniversary. Who knows, maybe the next studio album will sell 1 million!

^Yay 26! I think in terms of ranking it's doing better than last week. Numerically, it's anyone's guess. My expectation for sales of her next studio album is not that high either. Definitely hoping for more than Guilty but more than Secret may be a little unrealistic unless ayu hype rises again.
