I wonder if it's with Aibu Saki though. I don't really like both of them together. XD When I think of her, I only see her with her Zettai Kareshi co-star.

I don't understand why some are insulting him.

Geeze people. Everyone keeps posting comments like this without seemingly knowing anything about what they are talking about. Granted we are all outsiders, but if you've followed news articles, interviews, even Ayumi's own lyrics etc., it should be pretty evident that it likely wasn't Tomoya that was the problem in the whole marriage thing. I even remember an interview that was posted here in the news section in probably 2005 that had comments from one of Tomoya's parents saying that they wished he was with someone who was willing to settle down. And even Ayu herself said that their decision to split was mutual - it doesn't seem like she was dumped.

There is no reason at all for this Tomoya hate and I doubt Ayu would appreciate it either since it seems they are still friends.

That's a possibility. To bring up another Sex and the City analogy - Finding a man to marry is like hailing a cab. You have to wait until their light is on. One day they wake up and decide to flip it on and boom - next girl they meet is the girl they marry. It seems Tomoya's light has been on for a few years now.

I strongly believe that is what happened as well.

That is why Ayumi needs to date Gackt next. They have chemistry and they both aren't looking to settle down and both seem to value their careers above all else. My fantasy pairing should come true now. ^_^

Hmm... it does make sense as background for the Days PV - but I also just thought it was really funny that Days features Shuya who all of the tabloids are currently trying to nail down as Ayu's new BF. I think Ayu was playing around with the media perceptions of her social life with the Days PV.

Although I'm kind of sad as well (cause I thought Ayu and Tomoya were a cute couple, so I was sad when they broke up) it's not really our business. But I just love gossip *lol* An while people here rave about how both Tomoya or Saki Aibu are stupid at other blogs people are happy and diss Ayu (which is even worse..haha)

I also think Ayu choose her career over him, I think he wanted to get married but she didn't and then the love just fell apart cause there were different directions in life, both wanted to go. But I think it was the best thing that happened as well. Marriage puts so many restrictions on japanese women and Ayu couldn't be as free as she obviously wants to be. So let him marry a woman that has a smaller career and doesn't care so much about work. (I don't really know if she does, but Ayu's career is without a doubt, much bigger) I love Ayu as a career woman so I just don't see her as a wife. Of course I want her to be happy, but she doesn't need a husband to be happy, and it seems like this is what Tomoya Nagase wanted so it's his loss, really. The love he felt for her was obviously not strong enough to accept her choice, and the same goes for Ayu, so I doubt she would be sad. She made her choice and he made his.

And YES for Ayu as an independent woman.

I remembered back then when tomoya and ayu was still together...there were ayu hating from some tomoya fans (not in this forum)...I wonder what they think about aibu saki and this marriage rumor. (like if they prefer ayu or her more with tomoya) I personally don't like aibu saki. I stopped watching absolute boyfriend half way because of her acting...and she's not pretty. >_>
