It's interesting how many people are saying that it's "early" for a new album. This is the longest wait for an album of original material since the gap between "Duty" and "I am...". This is a really unusually long time to have waited for an album.

I don't know if people complained over "rushing" back then (Duty-I am...) where ayu's release pace was way crazier but now it's like even if there will be a difference of 10 years between albums people will be like "what? why is she rushing an album? it's too early/too fast!!".

The difference between GUILTY and this one is over a year, ayu never had such a long break between studio (or studio to mini) albums.
Also people should also understand that rushing isn't their problem.
ayu's style and use of compositors/arrangers (for the most part) is their problem not the release pace (hence why they don't want another GUILTY, rock songs and stuff and are calling it "rushing").

Well, the plans are tentative obviously, but it's definitely avex's official plan, being that this is the official pdf of the report hosted on avex.co.jp. And ayu is spending alot of time in Hawaii & LA over the last week or so, so. My guess is she's recording for the album.
