lol Alice , their last single collection Arashi 5x5: The Best Selection of 2002-2004 was also released in LE & RE editions so I wouldn't be surprised if their new future best album will follow suit as well

I definitely will get the LE for sure but you know the speed of how quickly the LEs are gone , especially for the guys's case

luckily there's always OS presses for me to fall back on

Yeah, the LEs are gone quick....I wonder what if I was in college when preorders are out. I never buy the OS presses if the Japan LEs are out of stock, but I do agree that they are much cheaper and you can save a lot!

^ I don't see Arashi as sempai either. Tackey & Tsubasa are so much more sempai-ish to me even though they debuted after. Even though some groups like Kanjani8 have older people too (I think yoko is like 28?) I can't see any of them being sempai either

well...group age-wise, i think you can lump them in with oldies, LOL. but yeah, i agree, i can never really classify them as sempais because they are around the same age as the new generation. i guess that happens when you debut young. like Morimoto of Hey! Say! JUMP is only gonna be like, 22, when H!S!J is 10 years old.

T&T are definitely sempai status. just because Takizawa & Imai's significant (& significant i mean HUGE) Junior work makes them sempais by this point, i would think. Takizawa really created the Golden Age of the Johnny's Juniors. too bad once K-T/H!S!J debut, that period ended...

I don't think you can lump them with the older groups either.
Kanjani8 has more older members than Arashi (as in they have like more older people, Arashi has Ohno and Sho who are 28 and 27 but K8 has like - 4 27 year olds and one 28 right?) and they're not too much older than NEWS or KAT-TUN. So I can't really call them old either.
