EMS = express mail service. basically it's faster than airmail, and the price difference between EMS and airmail is rather small (in cdjapan).

If you want CDJ to be cheaper you need to use their cheaper shipping methods like SAL or Air Mail. Air Mail is the standard shipping method of YA. No EMS, way overpriced.

Oh, usually if I order from YA, I use standard. The most it's taken was like a week. Least was like three days.
