The MV is rather good, one of the interesting ones for the past few years?
Some scenes reminded me Sekai no owari's habit though . https://youtu.be/8OZDgBmehbA?si=Cj_1uEH9Xmj7xlEO Last edited by Yoshiaki; 7th April 2024 at 05:22 PM. |

TBH I quite like the song even though it really reminds me of Britney Spears' era (with the school uniform style PV). I just hope she got more than one costume/styling in the PV but it seems ayu is not putting more effort in making her PV like 20 years ago...
The concept or the performance of the PV somehow has a reference to school bullying to me (eg. the finger-pointing, circling in the classroom...) Despite of her fish-lip and some weird facial expression, overall I'm satisfied with the production this time. Is it possible for me to look forward to a new album next? |

I like the washed out color palette actually, sort of gritty and kind of creepy, with only Ayu being in all that sparkly uniform with color and fancy hair ribbons. And yeah it probably has something to do with standing out in the crowd and being a person others would pick on? Japan has a massive problem with school bullying, so i wouldn't be surprised if that was the theme here. I like the video, it has some kind of a story, although it's nothing special. Also can we talk about the fact that she's doing ACTUAL choreography???!!! I don't remember her dancing this much in a while!
The song however, sounds very 2000s, it's not bad, it has a catchy phrase i guess, but it's very repetitive, they could have done a bit more with the instrumental on the second part of the song. I'm glad it's not a ballad though, i'm kind of tired of those.... Tbh, though? I don't think i'll add this one on my Spotify, unfortunatelly. The cover while cool is a bit weirdly cropped, like why did they have to crop out her feet? I feel like the whole figure would have been better composition-wise. I don't know what some of you are on talking about her face being weird, the pout has been around reappearing depending on the era. She has had WORSE!

I really like the PV, even though it's dark.
I actually have a dark interpretation of it but not really sure if I should post it, as I don't want to upset other ayu fans. But wondering if anyone else had a dark interpretation of the PV as well and think it's actually one of her more meaningful music videos? |

I like the song, it isn’t a top 10 in her discography but better then I expected for a children program. I think they pushed it as much as they could.
I hate the video, but I haven’t liked a video since Next Level Era. |

I am a bit surprised with the face comments. I guess it is the light of the PV because these are the same expressions you get on her selfies on Insta. She is fine.
Also both song and PV neither are in my top 5, but I love to see her inspired. She puts effort in the song, video and wow, the dancing is actually really good. The song is a fresh surprise, the music mixing is good the PV is something new, well executed and meaningful.... I love what she is doing and I am hyped for whatever has yet to come.

I don't mind her looks, but I do mind the washed-out color palettes that are present in her PVs from 2015 onwards, they look lifeless, bland, and overused. The song is not bad, but something different for sure in her discography.

I'm not sure if I like or dislike the song. But it's super catchy, so it'll probably be in heavy rotation either way, haha.

Do we know why this isn’t on Spotify or Apple Music?
It’s a bop! Also the PV is really giving “this is hip hop” 🤣 |

Song: I like it. Catchy tune!
MV: I like that ayu does the choreography. I like the concept but I am not sure what the concept is about though, and what is the blank facial expression suppose to represent. |

I like the song. It is so 2000's pop. And the pv is not terrible. Honestly I like this look on ayu.

I actually love the PV! It’s really ayu. And it does gives the “ovurselves Pv” vibes. It’s a long time since she done this.

I really love the song (the bridge is so good) and the PV is very well executed, loved to see Ayu dancing ! I'm ok for the "lifeless colors" but I don't mind so much

I found the cherography in the video is quite interesting.
Seems like a sign language to me which echoes some kind of bullying issue when victims couldn't raise their voices to help. The color tone is great also. Anyway it way better than MASK, I was disappointed by the lack of creativity in the vdo. Though they shot in TeamLab, but the whole video it's just Ayu wander around aimlessly. |
