Ayu has a Twitter now?!

We have to be careful if Ayu ever has a Twitter account - we're not supposed to bug her! It's just going to irritate her, and it would be in a similar fashion if you do it to Max Matsuura, Mika Noguchi, Oprah Winfrey, the United States CDC, real companies, etc.

I'm following tons of j-musicians on twitter (and have had plenty of short conversations with producer Tsutchie), my "following" list is a who's who of j-musicians using the service (and it's funny, they have less followers than you'd expect since twitter just hasn't really caught on yet over there, not compared to the USA anyway)... having Ayu be part of that list would just be so awesome.

hrmm, you know i never use twitter, but if i could follow all my jpop musicians it would be so worthwhile.

but as i was typing that i realized i wouldn't be able to read and understand their posts anyway.

Yeah, even if you've learned japanese, they get pretty casual on there.

The japanese speakers who tweet are so lucky though, you can say WAY more with 140 japanese characters than 140 english ones.

^^i agree. but don't sweat it. it's still somewhat anonymous. but i guess it really doesn't make much difference... but in the end the important thing is that ayu has your letter and that's what counts!

also, Maxker shouldn't be completely bashed. he meant well skimming through the letters. what if there really was something inappropriate. i would've felt so sorry for ayu and it would've made us international fans look really bad.

It was not as if we read those letters out loud for the other fans in London, only excerpts of what was inappropriate. And with inappropriate, I mean things like mentioning AHS (downloads), say they will kill certain people or call her nasty things due to lack of gigs outside of Asia ect. Fortunately there were not many letters that came in this category ^^

I would not be responsible for giving Ayu something with that type of content. As you say jean-baptiste, it would've made us look really bad and disrespectful.
