I don't get the whole Britney/Kevin = Ayu/Mannie thing.
So what, they just met 4 months ago (as far as we know, they could have met way before that). We don't know anything about that.
At least Mannie isn't a loser, has a respectable job of his own and could make it without Ayu, he doesn't need her money. It's obvious that they are in love. It was pretty obvious to me that something was up between them when she extended her stay in LA.

really I doubt it's this case, people...stereotypes are stereotypes, stop being negative and don't call for bad yourself..>_<

^^don't you think that there is still a possibility that it could've been an act for the camera? even if it wasn't, they could very well be in love. Ayu is old enough and smart enough to make her own decisions and life choices.

I really don't know what to say. I'm still in shocked because it's kinda sudden. Well, even 7 years of relationship didn't end up to marriage so it doesn't matter if it's sudden.

But it will really take a few moments before it gets through my head that Ayu will be getting married. I think I'm just not into it that Ayu ain't gonna marry a Japanese guy (I'm not saying Mannie's not perfect for her or something).

Finally, Ayu is going to the real NEXT LEVEL in her life and I hope their marriage will last although my thoughts are 50:50. 50% lasting marriage and 50% divorce (I hope not).

i actually expected to see more interaction between Ayu x Mannie...but actually they didn't show that much, except for one when Mannie wearing the clown mask and scared ayu then he hugged her..and i kinda think that Mannie is a very quite person coz he seemed so not talkative in the making off vids.. is he a shy person?

Anyway, I've been thinking about the dress Ayu might wear for the wedding and how it might differ from the ones she's worn over the years for concerts and stuff... it's probably all so boring to her now. Maybe she'll wear the dress she wore in Virgin Road/Last angel. That would be something special ^^

I wonder if she'll sing something or have any of her songs played...

I dunno, for some reason I'm picturing a Princess Diana-esque wedding...

Well, the situation is similar (a more famous woman is marrying a less famous man — even tho we're not sure Mannie's profile that much). I think people are just being protective. Looking at them rite now I dun think Mannie is K-Fed clone. The worst scenario I can think of for ayu case is hikki x kiriya type (another famous woman married a less famous man). They mutually separated with no messes left behind. I'm sure that Max and her Peachy friend (forgot her name) will give her advices, and I'm sure ayu is maturer than Britney at least.

And most importantly... why are we thinking about the bad future when they're not even married yet...? (my own answer: I'm just being a bit worried... )

I guess he's shy or maybe he's just being discrete haha I'm sure he's a great guy, and that little joke about scaring Ayu kinda proves it. They get along and I guess they love each other ^^

I think that she's making a big mistake, it's too rushed.
I think that she feels like The Nanny who believes that if she doesn't get married in
