I wonder, what are the Gaga dedicated forums saying? I mean, I don't think that too many people here at AHS are super Gaga fans, so I'm wondering what the reaction is from the hardcore fans?

Exactly! This album is going to be extremely intoxicating, and it's so effing clear just from this cover. You can easily write a whole thesis paper on just the cover hahaa, just imagine the album itself. Oh God bless us little monsters XD

So, like many of you, I will admit, as soon as I saw the BTW cover, I had a very visceral and negative reaction. But the more time I spend looking at it, and the more I think about it, the more genius it appears to me.

I completely understood this album cover when i first saw it. I was pretty much LOVING it. its pretty awesome (even if it ends up not being the cover, but i think it will be and would be upset if it isnt).

I honestly did love it from the second I saw it, I was also shocked because it was so unexpected. Why I liked it from the first time I saw it 1) I love the look of motorcycles, wouldn't ride one though 2) To me it had that 80's rock "GGGRRRRHHHH" to it, the same look on Gaga's face. 3) It looks so simple and complex at the same time

And then there's....

I THINK THAT'S THE WORST COVER EVER...EVERYTHING IS WRONG!!! IT'S LIKE FAN-MADE...I THINK THAT FANS CAN MAKE BETTER COVER!!! I WILL NOT BUY CD IF THIS PICTURE AND FONT WILL BE ON CD... I'M VERY DISAPOINTED AND SAD... I THINK THAT I WILL TAKE A KNIFE AND CUT MY VEINS!!! :'(

The cover is fake ! I`m really sure, she would newer do that !
She also said that the cover was going to be white, and the Deluxe verison gold.

everything she does is normally so artistic and awesome, but that cover is just awful, i wont buy it if thats the cover. Its embarrassing

Now that I've downloaded the album, and have this cover on iTunes... it creeps me out.
I'm going to change it to the lead single's cover...

In the begining I really didn't like it at all. But as time has gone by, it's starting to grow in me a little bit. I still don't think it's anything great, but I'm at a point where I can at least accept it. But I plan on getting the special edition of the album, so I won't have to look at the gaga-cycle too much anyways. The special edition cover however, I do actually like.

I think the cover is the only thing that's not going to grow on me about this album. Both versions are atrocious. The Deluxe is slightly better because it doesn't have that tacky font on it, but even that is ruined by the ridiculous "GRRR!" face she's making. I expected another symbolic and instantly iconic design like "The Fame Monster" had, but instead we got...this.

There are quite a few very good fanmade covers out there, though, and I've found one I'll definitely be using in iTunes and maybe even printing out to put in my CD case. It's similar, but much easier on my eyes:
