It's certainly a beautiful song. I love it too. I think the whole of her official album is flawless..and I like most of the songs from her first.

I think it would make sense for Lana to release the video for Summertime Sadness near the end of Summer. I've been wanting her to release it since I heard about it a while ago, but since she came out with NA, that is what I think will end up happening.

Well... *cough, cough* Honestly, I don't like what I've heard so far, but I think she sounds so awful because she is too nervous and tbh her songs aren't easy to sing live :/ But you should see/hear for yourself, you might get disappointed or not, who knows...

I think her early lives were pretty bad, but her recent performances have been good. She has some recorded without an audience and they're better, she's more confident in them. The nerves are her problem.

I like how she changes her songs up live, she tells the story in her performance.

It really is. It's the only English language pop album I've ever heard I can say that for.

I saw her when she performed in LA last month and she was really amazing!!! I was soooooooooo impressed. She's really improved.

Probably my least favourite video by her, not counting the video clip ones for Carmen and Video Games.

It looks like somebody was given a smoke machine and instagram and told to make a video out of it.

I'm probably being over critical because we've just got National Anthem, which was amazing.

Thank you so much for this topic. I was on the edge of buying her CD but was too lazy to listen to her music. Found "Born to Die" and "Video Games" on here and fell in love with her music and voice so I bought the CD. My favorite songs are "Born to Die", "Off to the Races", "Video Games", "Dark Paradise", and "This Is What Makes Us Girls"

I love summertime sadness. With that said, though the video is pretty cool, its probably the weaker official MV from Lana. I like the concept, but some clips where too long and should have been cut shorter for other clips that were far more mesmerizing.

I really love how the official MV's Lana has made (Not MVs she made and released herself) all center around death.. She (mainly) or a loved one (National Anthem) or both (Summertime Sadness) dies in her MVs!
