1) I LOVE this PLASTIC photoshoot. It's crazy, very VOGUE'esque in fact. Very weird, my thing.

2) Ayu is that kind of a star that she should change her image often, and that's why I love her, lol

In fact, from the recent photoshoots, I disliked her curly hair the most, with these pink-peachy lighting and these granny-cute clothes and HATS. ugh. And her lips was disgusting back then (I love personally "peachy skin lipstick" but Ayu looks like an alien with em) She looked like 16yo teen-wannabe. This kind of session (ViVi 4,12) looks purely fun, it's nothing bad with "fun/cool/urban" in her age. I just think that "cute Ayu" (like in shoots back then or RnRC cover) doesn't work for her anymore.

and the last thing about lightning - yeah, Leslie uses the strong light a lot, it's not very fine for me cause Ayu look a little manequinesque.

I like change in style a lot, she looks like her fun, youthful days before it was all about glamour. Maybe we'll see her wearing jeans?! It would be amazing.

Still... there is something so off about this...

Love the cover overall, though I agree her eyes/eyelashes are a bit odd. I'm glad she has a more fun image here, she's still young and can pull it off, it would be boring if she was only in "classy" or "mature" magazines/photoshoots all the time.

It brings me back to the NEXT LEVEL era. That era was fun, to me at least. And all the colours and stuff, loving it.

We just can't get an album loaded with mid-tempo and ballads after covers like this one



I love the plastic doll looking ayu, don't care how many people hate it, I looooove ittt.

I really don't like it. I mean it's a nice change of style, but it was poorly executed. The only good thing about the picture is that her lips look gorgeous.

I don't agree that she shouldn't do pictures like this anymore, she's 33 not 60. She can wear what she wants.

Yeah, it's the intense flash. Leslie shouldn't use this kind of effect in his photos, it never really works
