Total sales: 416,000 (4th best selling album of 2012 as of this week)

Back in 2008, her best alb 'BEST FICTION', also captured the No. 1 spot on the ORICON weekly chart for 6 straight weeks (It was the first time in 14 years and 8 months that an album was No. 1 for 6 straight weeks, and the first time in 28 years and 7 months that a female solo artist went No. 1 for 6 straight weeks, recording total sales of over 1.8 million copies)

I mean, I liked Uncontrolled, and I like her works, but it hasn't been knock-my-socks-off amazing. I wonder why her popularity has surged the past few yrs?!

More than that, 'Uncontrolled' has won two consecutive weeks at # 1 in Taiwan and Hong Kong, the album also topped on the radio chart in the "weekly chart J / K-POP Hong Kong HMV" J-POP chart of Hong Kong only.

Love the sales. It would be awesome if Uncontrolled managed to get past the #3 album of the year but that's over 700k so that might be asking a bit too much. Still, these sales are amazing and it looks like she's the only solo artist selling this well. Everyone else is a group.

^^That video made me realize just how amazing the last two era's have been. Past<Future still blows me away to this day. And Uncontrolled just show how much Namie's in the lead right now. This girl is cray cray, stop being so flawless.
